Question about Custom Scores and Leaderboard

I'm making an RPG and want to have an Experience system. I also want it to show up on the leaderboard. I can't seem to get it to work. I make a trigger like, Player 1 kills at least 1 Zealot. Add 10 Custom score. Preserve trigger.

And I also have a Leaderboard. The problem is, once you kill one zealot, your custom score just goes up by 10 all the time. And if I change it to kill exactly 1 zealot, it only works once. It's pretty messed up. Does anybody know a way to fix this? Using kills score or something?

The only way I've gotten a trigger like this to work is to change the CODITION to use "Score"

It would expand ou to...

Player? Score type(Kills) score is At least 1

And add in the ACTIONS area the Set Score trigger.

It would expand out to...

Modify score for Player? Set to 0 Kills

The rest of your actions should be ok. The only real drawback is that it will not tell the difference between a zealot, and a marine. One Kill = 10 Custom, but at least it won't continue to increas on it's own.

Try it with your original Condition, it may still work.

This's tricky. I figured it out eventually for an RPG I scrapped a long time ago. Try this:

Conditions
Current Player kills exactly 1 Zealot.

Actions
Add 10 Custom for Current Player.
Remove 1 Kill/Razing for Current Player.
Preserve Trigger.

That way, every time he kills a unit, the score is added and the kill is removed. Good luck with your RPG.

To clarify, i wanted to have different scores for different types of units.

I'll try what you said America, even though i don't really get it.
