How to make the computer more challenging

Hey guys, is there anyway i can get the computer to be more challenging on lan games? Is there some special bot i need to get or something?

nope no bot, just have to make some money kinda maps and they gat hard, hey if you want i can e-mail you a map that has hard comps on it, its a melee map thought.

i think UMS can make cpu harder if u give them certain AI script

it just all depends on the game tpye, melee or use map settings from there its your choice.

In UMS you can set 2 identical AI scripts in the same base. That seems to work most of the time.

lol ums ai is the best way but to turn the comp on u get the hard hack for v 1.10 sc only but well it wurks great online and offline it rox if u want to train urself!!

The easiest way to do this (excuse my grammar) is to set up a UMS (use map settings) game in staredit. Use the Zerg/Protoss/Terrain Insane script. Then, if it is still to easy, decrease your minerals or give computer more. If all else fails, switch to battle.net.

Hmm....Actually, the best way to do this is create your own custom AI scripts with ScAIEdit. In this wonderful program, you can create your own AI scripts. Though it really doesn't work for me cause I don't have any good strategies. I just make the comp mass zealots are something, and I always lose. No real good strategy involed in there.
