Hacks. Do you use 'em?

Well, do you use hacks, I used to, but then I realized I gain no skill, and no respect. Now I am hack-free, after going through hack-detoxification (a joke, hehe )

Actually, i have never used any form of cheating in BW. I have only used a maphack in Diablo 2 (which doesn't give u an advantage over other players) but i stopped using that a month ago.

Not only do NOT use hacks, I also use the B Net Firewall, to prevent others from using them in a game.
The closest thing that I would consider, would be in a UMS game, where all can use it if it's needed for a specific reason.
Like booting a nuisance to the gamer.

I hate hacks, i hate cheaters, and i hate all people of that nature. I am not saying that i haven't ever cheated or anything, but i think that if you dont got the skill to play starcraft, then dont. I personally have used a program, i dont think it is considered a hack. Would a Chatting Trainer be considered a hack. All it does it make it so u can copy and paist in a game, and i have used a name spoofer. I dont think those are bad, i just dont like those hacks that give you a cheap edge over some poor sap who would whipe the floor with you if you would fight fairly.

I can see why people use them though.

Think About it like real life:
Say you get into a fight (a game on starcraft)
You can:
A. Backstab your buddy and have him take the fall for you (bsing)
B. Fight Fair and get the crap beat outta you (lossing a game)
C. Take a 2 by 4 to the back of their head (hacking in a game)

So far from what I have seen, it works best if your the host, and running the program.
If your not, it misses a few hacks, sometimes.

StarCraft has to be running, before it can be started, since it works like an addon.

ive used some sc hacks when i was a newb it was fun winning but since i was using the hack i was losing my skills so i had to play without to get better I some time use it for usm to see the map thats all anyways ..... > ,. <

I have never used a hack and definatly never will, unless you consider a No CD Crack for BroodWar a hack.

Is starspoof a hack? That's probably the only thing I've used. I can't figure out how to use the other damn hacks . In D2X all I used is Map Hack and that's because I rushed all of my friends and needed to do it quickly.

i don't like to hack especially on SC cus its a stratagy game...you buy it to have fun with stratagy not to make your-self invincible and start killing. The only thing i ever cheet on SC is the one-player mode... i do it only cus its fun to play 1vs7 and see all surrounding my one marine then nuking them and seeing mass bloodshed. hehehe...

Hacking in SC is really just cheating yourself, cus if you can't win witout using a hack, you shudn't be playin SC at all, and ffs don't be proud of your stats if you hack or play money maps. Money maps is good for one thing, that is to keep hackers from playing decent games.

I need to no this i was in a game and someone had a hack on that was on my team and everyone was insulting him and telling him to turn it off cause it was causing lag but then i had heard hacks dont cause lag! do they or do they not?

Starspoof gives you an enormous advatage... You can tell when there's a drop, you won't get any surprises, which is quite boring... If you can't play witout a hack, get the f*ck off b.net.

No... I don't think hacks cause lag, it's the shitty comp that can't handle all the action.
