| Floating a drone is a bug in StarCraft which can only be performed by Zerg. It's making a drone fly anywhere on the map without getting ventral sacs on overlords.

| Heh. You can only get Drones with Zerg. Don't worry about learing it though, the new patch for StarCraft and Brood War will fix it. |

| If you really have to know, go to the Use Map Settings section of StarCraft / Brood War games on Battle.net and look for ones that say 'Float a Drone' or 'Float a Templar'. Some don't tell you how, but then some give you instructions. |

| anyway, i have tested it and it's useless, 'cause you lose time and it's better to use overlords w/ventral sacs.
and it's also cheating, so, play fair

| well a floating drone is when a drone goes thru a game glitch which can be used by a player as a "technique". well anyway basically if u want to float a drone it does this like on lost temple u start off at ur starting spot u do the "technique" and tell the drone to go where u want such as the corner island expansion and wuush there it goes to the island its pretty much cheating but its a easy expansion |

| Just when the game starts:
-send 3 drones mining
-select 4th drone
-order to build extractor (gas)
-then while he's going, hold shift and press right mouse button where you want him to go (on the mini map easier)
-just before drone starts building, buy a drone so that there wouldn't be enough minerals
-relax, and watch him flyin =]
