Nothing for Staredit will Work!

I am having problems . WHEN EVER I LOAD SOMETHING TO ENHANCE STAREDIT, (besides font color) It says:
Error reading DocRTF->Lines.Strings: RichEdit line insertion error. Can someone plz help me with this problem?

I was hopeing to make an Rpg maker, but nothing to help it will work , To me, that would be an ez ums to make. AND IM NOT A NEWBIE :hmad

please don't TRIPLE post, be patienet next time.

the programs that "enhance" staredit can't be loaded into staredit, they are run seperatly, the only thing you can load into staredit is a .scm/x map.

You pretty much can't use them with the new version. However, there are many alternatives:

SCM Draft - Can't do triggers mostly used for terain
X-tra ediotor - Reccommended, use with SCM draft for rectangular terrain

StarForge: Came out yesterday, still very buggy, you can't save maps (auto protect), and a lot of other stuff.

SCM Draft and X-tra are what I use, look at the post called Virus's goodbye/scums editing FAQ. Its at the top. It has links to both.

Staredit is the old editor blizzard made. I would get SC X-Tra Edit, GUEdit and Starforge when it is released.
