| Shouldn't this be in the "Use Map Settings" section?
As far as instant ups, have you even tried going to Google or Altavista? I assume not since it's pretty easy to find what you're looking for.
Just use keywords like 'starcraft map editor hacked' and you should get a result with the answers you're looking for like I did here... http://www.altavista.com/sites/cg/we...vkw=qtrp&kl=XX

| I think if u set the upgrade time to 99999999 or something it will give u instant upgrades.

| Set time to 8739 and it will set the factor as zero automatically, it works for energy costs too, but if you go back to the unit you set the time for it will say 0, but soon as you click out it will be set as one, so when you set unit stats, don't go back unless you set the time to 8739 again.

| This happens to work because the units of time that the value is stored in is 15ths of a second. 8739 * 15 = 131085. The value is stored in a short int, whose max value is 65535. To prevent overflow, the programmers just used the mod function, which reduces this value to 13. 13 / 15 doing integer division is 0. There are other values that will work too.
Or you could just use Starforge and enter a value less than 15 .gif) |

| This thread is just chock full of useful information, especially for new mapmakers. I enjoyed reading the explanation of exactly why that works.
By the way, as Lwek said, X-tra editor gives instructions on how to do this within the actual upgrade editing area.
