| Need a person to... Hi all ... I am searching a person that know how to built a map...
I am just asking to thiese persone , if she can modify a Fastest map ever... because , I would like to have this map , a new version of it ... The difference between the 2 ?
The mineral ... It have 8 place in this map... but when you are only 3 or 4 or whatever ... It have other mineral in the other bases like if it have no player.
I want a persone that are able to set this ... That the mineral appear just if it have a player playing at this place...
I dont know how and I cant because i dont have broodwar.
If a person want to do that , It would be cool to send it to me by email...
Im sorry if you didn't understand all ... I am not very good in english

IMPOSSIBLE, unless the map is played as a "UMS" map instead of melee.

| That's what I was thinking at first. But I got an idea. Use ScmDraft:Alpha and set the minerals to the player who mines from it.
E.G.: Set the 50 mineral fields at top left to player one because that's where he starts. |

| in melee mode player spots are randomized, so white player wouldn't actually be in that corner for eg...

| Yes, Tassadar is correct... that is impossible to do in a melee map.
you can only do things like that in a UMS Game (Use Map Settings game)

| yea i actualy i think it really sucks that u cant do more in meele. I meen say you wanna make a recruitng map and advertise it in meele. You can't!!! Sry i have thought about that for a while and i wanted to just get that off my chest. O yea please do me a favor and check out my thread!!!! Its about a part of rpg upgrades, i use starcraft x-tra map editor. Aight im out. |

Edit the lost temple map so it's longer on teh bottom, cut this place off from the rest with a high wall, then for the clan recruiters make a base with LOTS of minerals for them while the others get norm mins, then warn the other players not to go down to the bottom or fear death.

you can place them using scm draft but they will not show up in the game |

| you might be right but i remember making all the minerals for player 1 on acident when trying to stack them for a melee map |

| I don't like the pictures for the signatures i think signature should be limited to 2 lines max. And as far as the avatar. . . i don't know i guess i never bothered to after i lost my other acount
ill do that now i guess
PS. Im not interested in agureing this point and i don't expect it to happen so don't get mad or spas me out with why you like signatures |

| heh we understand you bout sigs, there r too many ppl with huge sigs that take up room on things. (like me for eg... im getting a new sigtar soon that'll b way smaller)
Even though it's off topic:
Master virus, the reason it worked for UMS is because you can give minerals to players in ums mode, but you cannot do this in melee (maps can only show start locations doodads and terrain in melee mode)

| Seriously I've gotten it to work for melee. But I deleted map already. That same map had a bug, too. I would play the map under single player with 5 other computers. And I could see the whole map to start off with. I don't want to get into this conversation anymore. You guys probably don't believe and that is fine. I know what I saw.
Recently changing mineral fields to different players for a ums map are not working.
I've got an idea. I had this idea for a while. But you guys can tell me if it works.
Make a Melee and a UMS Map in one.
First put all the manditory stuff you need for Melee(minerals) Then you can create triggers to remove those minerals when you play it under a UMS style. I have never really tried to make a map like that. Would it work? Quote:
