wuts better scm toolkit or guedit?

I would have to say GUEdit. Personally because SCM Toolkit has never worked for me and I'm too lazy to try to make it work. GUEdit is easier once you get Java Runtime 1.1.0.2 or something like that. I learned the hard way on creating terrain on GUEdit and changing player colors. Overall, I would have to say GUEdit because it's easier to use mostly. Good luck!

they both have advantages, personally to make maps i use a amix of both.

o i was jus askin cuz i was thinkin of gettin scm tookit...i hav guedit already n i think its good...i was wonderin if scm toolkit had better stuff

SCM toolkit has some features that GUedit does not.
String Editor
Map Resize
other stuff that is less usefull

I have been told by several sorces that maps protected with toolkit are harder to unprotect im not sure how true this is.

Most things that toolkit is usefull for, can be done with GUEdit or SCM Draft
