Black Terrain?

Alright, this has probably been asked before by some other newbie like me, but how do you make black terrain? I've heard that it can be performed by GUEdit, but I don't exactly know what to do. Any help?

Thanks, tassadar. But there's one more thing. You can't create triggers on SCM Draft. Does it mean a unit or what? Please help!

my way of making black terrain is pretty bad right now, ill get a better way l8r.

You can't make units or save on scm draft, start a file somewhere else, then load it in scm draft, do what i said (hope it works ), then trig edit somewhere else, or do it the other way around.

umm the making lback terrain or the saving stuff for scm draft?

The saving in SCM Draft. You see, when I try to save it says something like:

"Access violation at adress 0048E1D1 in module 'SCMDraft.exe'. Read of adress 0020604C.

Yes, this is when it is protected. I have absolutely no idea what to do about it or what it means.

Help?

1. do u have another editor on at same time?, if so close it,
2. are u playing tha map at the time if so close it.
3. if its a portected map u cant save it

that means that it's protected and your not allowed to save it.

DON'T OPEN PROTECTED MAPS!!

yes good point, if you guys want i can post a WORKING!! version of scm draft alpha up. It's kinda screwy right now, but im trying to fix the bug (it kepes changing the terrain into space terrain.. not sure why)

omg u fool scmdraft alpha (posted by silent) works! and if u wanna use Gue click the red x thingys and then do everything u would originally do and to do scmdraft pre alpha click the check box then just click the last box then make terrain

Wait, wait wait. Where do you get SCM Draft alpha? Also, Tassadar, your REALLY confusing me. You said in your manual to create black terrain to PROTECT IT and OPEN IT in SCM Draft, so you say you don't then you say you do.

I need Alpha! I have beta but not alpha. Either tell me where to get it or post it up. I desperately need it. Thanks,

Hmm my way of getting black terarin does not work on beta anymore. Try using alpha, (if uc an get it) and then ENCRYPT the file, and open in scm draft.

I have no !@#$ idea where ScmDraft:Alpha is and I can't post it up because it's too big. Even 1 of the file in the folder surpasses the limit. I have a bad Memory span. I can't remember where I got it.

I have accidentaly gotten rid of scm draft alpha... oh well.

not yet master, my choice isn't yet chosen.

For now im going to probably spend the summer using sc, making a huge ass rpg.

Or wc3, making a huge ass rpg, not sure yet.

In the meantime, im going to help ppl wihtout doing much, im really getting tired of these two games.
