| Depends on what you want to do. If you're just starting out, I would recommend you stick with Base Mode. Once you're comfortable with it, you can experiment with the others.
There's tutorials on specific trigger concepts, but I'm not sure of any that teach you how to start with them. I learned by opening other peoples' maps and looking at the triggers. Not sure if that's helpful or not. :\
