Ayudenme por favor

I've been working on a board game map for quite a while. I don't expect to finish in the near future but I'll try to get it done before the end of 2006.

Right now I'm working on getting the Backgammon to work. I've got all if it pretty much sorted out, but I need an efficient method to decide which counter a piece os moved from. I've come to two decent possibilities that keep in mind the fact that I've already used a lot of units and I'm a bit limited on choice, Corsair ftw. Tell em which of these you think would be easiest;

1. The player moves the Corsair over the section where they'll want a piece moved. They then cast Disruption Web. Where they cast it is irrelevant, it's just so the triggers know the player has made hsi choice and go by the location of the Corsair.

2. The player casts Disruption Web. Where the user clicked (this'll be easy because it'll be the center of the Web) is how the triggers know which piece to move.

I know that's a bit vague but I'm at a loss of words as to how to describe it. if you can understand my jumbled rambling, tell me which method you think will be easiest for the players to use. Location of the Corsair, or location of the Disruption Web, I can't figuer out which'll be best but I have a feeling one method would probably be preferred by most players.

Thanks for reading this and providing help, if you do.

I think that the Disruption Web method of choosing the object is preferable. It brings a little bit more method into the game, thus making it a bit harder, which is what people usually like.

That's my opinion.

Ok. Thanks for your input. Going by the location of the Disruption Web probably makes more sense anyways.
