Should it be in? The way I see it, the host could check something like an option allow Resource Sharing before they create a game, that way players that wouldn't like it could just play without it. Whats your take?
Resource pooling doesn't work in any RTS contrary to what anyone may think, and it isn't like you can just funnel resources to yourself from an ally who has left. The only thing it does is help share the economic burden amongst several people. Only thing I see is one player getting alot of expansions, and just sharing those resources so no one else has to expand. But that isn't really effective or cheap, that is strategy.

the only problem i see with pooling will be in custom games which will be left to the creator to decide then.
