| well, if you haven't played the original starcraft and broodwar then you should at least buy them so you'll know bout the story or something. at least you'll have a background bout what is it all about.
anyway, sc2 will not be here for months or years from now. besides old games are cheap. til then you could at least save some penny until sc2 will be released. in the mean time if you like to buy some awesome games, many fps titles are already out. you should check those two. | |

| Sure if you've never played it, it's definitely worth getting. Though remember it's an old game so focus on the gameplay.

| The game is dirt cheap.
Hellgate london is lame. I was in the beta, and even if the real game is ten times as stable as the beta was, it is unplayable.
Diablo clone, more or less just stick with Diablo II. |

Everyone should have at least 1 copy of SC & BW. Plus another copy of BW because of overuse and CD key issues. .gif "Wink")
As for going into the store to buy SC2. Um, I HIGHLY suggest NOT buying any box from anyone that says its SC2.

| I have an old burnt copy of Starcraft with the CD key wirretn in marker on top of it- man was it damn fun when I first started playing it back in.. 7th or 8th grade. (I grad this past year)
BW was awesome when it first came out. Still the online play is better than the game in some ways.
In the game you can survive with 1-2 barracks, but online u need AT LEAST 4 to survive
