Individual Unit Customization

I don't know if there's much else they're doing with it, but there are instances so far shown where you can change it up and have different types of the same unit...to clarify and show my chief example, they were talking about how with the Battlecruisers, you have the individual option on each ship to choose which "advanced weapon" they'll upgrade to, between the Yamato Cannon or the new AG torpedo barrage. One Battlecruiser can't have both, but you can have as many of each other one as you choose to build/upgrade.

Any ideas on what other sorts of things they'll do this with?

What I think of it? The game will be combed through within the first week. As for what unit will counter each unit we will have to see.

BCs were pretty ****ty for their cost in BW, so it makes sense their being upgraded to increase their usage.

Ah, the good ol' days when Ts thought they were godly. Idiots.

lol. Massed BCs > almost any other massed unit. Pound for pound they're the toughest, most powerful units in the game...add in Yamato Cannon and they're ridiculously good.

Not to say they're invulnerable, but they really put the POW in powerful.

During the time I've played this game, not once have I encountered battlecrusiers outside of single player. And I played mostly pubby level battle.net games. As well as watched alot of replays and still never see BCs. That says alot about the unit. You'd think if they're as good as people say they are, they'd be used more often, don't ya think? Blizzard decrease the cost for Yamato research and still people avoided that unit like the plague.
