On the April 12, 2007 Blizzard announced that this year they will be holding their second BlizzCon. This convention will be on August 3, 2007, and will again take place in the Anaheim Convention Center. Tickets came on sale on June 12, but sold out on June 15.
Highlights for this year's BlizzCon will include:
- Discussion panels with Blizzard game developers;
- Competitive and casual tournaments, including a World of Warcraft TCG tournament;
- Costume, machinima, and character sound-alike contests with prizes;
- Live orchestral performances of music from Blizzard games;
- Other activities to be announced at http://www.blizzcon.com
- Murloc suit to be redeemed in World of Warcraft.
- A Beta key for an upcoming Blizzard game.
- Playable Starcraft 2 demo.
| Lucky bastards  any one think the beta key could be something diffrent  ?

| That is interesting. A beta key for what? Its too early for SC2 to be sent home for bug finding.

@ Mike: I'd give my right nut to play the demo. But I gave it away already so I could play the SC:G demo which I never got to do and they never refunded my nut.

| You hve to realisze this. I live in Canada on the other side of the continent. Blizzcon is in Anheim California. If I had a ticket, hell of a trip just to go to a gaming convention. But IM GOING TO BE IN CALIFORNIA IN AUGUST. I cant believe how much I missed this and I'm going to be there at the time anyways in less than a 100 mile distance. I'm so pissed.
