Nagalisk Calling

[Final Warrior]

*Leo snapped his shotgun straight up, unloading at point-blank into a turret, easily disabling it. Running over to the large mainframe in the center of the room, Leo slaps his open palm on the keyboard. The nanobots inside his suit form minute tendrils, creating a link for Tex.*

Tex: Wooooooooow... very, very, very awesome. But this code is complex. I'm going to need some backup.

Leo A-01: Simon! Get your skinnyass over here!

*Dropping the expended shotgun, Leo unloads his minigun into the crowd of Nagalisk, while simultaneously pulling out two pistols and firing those.*

Katie A-02: Goddamn! How many of these fsckers are there?!

[VoxEladrin]

Simon B-01: I'm on it!

Simon heads to the terminal and links Tek in.

Tek: Woooah nelly. That's some complicated ****. Come on Tex, we gotta work fast!

Simon B-01: Make it quick, damnit!

Simon blasts a Nagalisk away with his SADAR.

[Final Warrior]

Tex: We're working on it, we're working on it! Don't get yer panties in a bunch!

Leo A-01: Well make it snappy!

*Barrelling right into a Nagalisk, Leo whips out a sharp, wicked-looking dagger fixed into one of his wrist slots. Swinging his arm back and forth, Leo easily dissects the alien's face.*

Tex: Almost.... Tek, move Data-0344 under Setion 6, crack the password, and relay the information."

Tek: Done and done. Tex, I need that 512-bit decoder over here.

Tex: 512-bit? That's kind of archaic. Here. Okay, breaking it down with a 4096-megabit decrypter....

Tek: I'm done on this end!"

Tex: Oui, j'ai fini, aussi! Leo, the automated defenses, interior and exterior are deactivated."

Leo A-01: Hallelujah.

*Leo and the rest of the Alpha and Bravo teams reload and pop-up all together, easily finishing off everythin in the room.*

Katie A-02: Finished... on to the bridge?

Leo A-01: Yeah. Simon, go and-

*Three large plasma bolts slam into Leo, throwing him backwards into a computer console. At the same time, four plasma grenades bounce in. In the instant before they go off, Katie sees something.*

Katie: NAGALISK LORDS!

[VoxEladrin]

Simon was blown backwards by the plasma grenades. His suit's medical adreneline pumped into him to absorb the pain. He stood up on his feet and grunted.

Simon B-01: GODDAMNIT!! TAKE THIS YA MOOCHERS!!

Simon fires a SADAR anti-shield round, blowing a Nagalisk Lord's shields to bits. He quickly reloads and pumps another shot into the Lord's head killing it.

Another Nagalisk Lord came in, followed by a third.

Simon B-01: Commander, we have a mayday! Nagalisk Lords! Big ones too. Baaaack up please!

[Final Warrior]

*Leo, sporting a drained shield and damaged shields, got up off the grounds.*

Leo A-01: I really hate this sh!t.

*His guns thundering, Leo unleashes a sotrm of hot lead and high-explosives on the two remaining Nagalisk Lords. At the same time, the automated defense activate and begin firing down on the Nagalisk.*

Tex: Yeeeeee-haaaaaaw!

[VoxEladrin]

Tek: OH YEA BABY! Take that! And That!

The auto turrets blasted the Nagalisk Lords to smitherenes. Tek and Tex whooping like mad mechanical men, Alpha and Beta squad slowly but surely destroying all of the Nagalisks on the bridge

Eventually the fight ended and Simon fell on his back, exhausted.

Simon B-01: That was the most fun I've had in years.

[Final Warrior]

Leo A-01: Yeah, well we've still got to take the bridge, and that won't be easy. Unlike humans, the Nagalisk prefer putting their bridge right in the center of their ships. So grab some ammo, eat a ration, and take a shot of caffiene, 'cause we're going down the belly of the beast.

*With those words, leo pops open his helemt, and whipping out a ration pack, yanks the lighter string, heating up the food inside.*

Katie A-02: Nothing like heated rations onboard a hostile craft, eh?

*Tex appears on a halopad on a computer console that has been relatively undamaged, save for a few bullet holes. She runs her hand through her aqua hair, looking around.*

Tex: Wooow. We did a number on this place, huh? Well, anyways, I got something you might like, Leo. We can now track any Nagalisk running around inside. THey'll appear as orange-red dots on the map.

Leo A-01: Hmm... Marines, stick around and bolster the reinforcements. DREAM MAKERs, let's play a little game...

*The specialized team of DREAM MAKERs remember the last time Leo said those words. It invovled stripping down into nothing but shorts and a t-shirt in the middle of a frozen wasteland, unarmed, with only a week's worth of food total, playing hide and seek with hardcore marines that had guns. Really big guns. Inevitably, the genetically modified supersoldiers (then nothing but well-trained children without any sort of augmentations) won out, after a month of brutal guerilla/theft warfare.*

Simon stared at Leo and grinned.

Simon B-01: A game boss? Do we get to blow stuff up?

OOC: Short post NUUUUUU

[Final Warrior]

Leo A-01: We had better blow things up. The brass'll be disappointed if we don't. So eat, sit down for about ten minutes, until the ammunition arrives. And then load up, because we're going to hell and back.

((Short post! *El gasp!* That's what happens when I sleep for 5 hours...))

Simon frowned.

Simon B-01: After all the trouble we went through to capture the damned thing!? We could use this ship! All we have to do is get it quarentined at base. Think please, Leo. What we would learn from this!

Leo A-01: You're a little low on the command chain to be mouthing off, Simon.

Simon shut his mouth and sat back.

[Final Warrior]

Leo A-01: Maybe you should've read the briefing, Simon. We are capturing this thing.

*Ten minutes later, the team is overloaded with ammunition. Sealed inside their suits, the DREAM MAKERs look like towering robots, faceless and fearless.*

Leo A-01: C'mon. We've got a ship to capture.

*The DREAM MAKERs fall in, headed to the very core of the Blackcloak. It seems unusually empty, both visually and on the map. The only areas of high concentration of Nagalisk are the bridge and the hold.*

Tex: Hey, you bunch of blood-thirsty nuts! Don't cause too much dmaage. We need to preserve as much as we can, especially the cloak drive. That could be VERY useful to the tech-heads.

Tek: Tex, I've finished my analysis of the plasma weapons. Highly advanced, but the way they contain the plasma for use is kind of inefficient. They project a magnetic field around a ball of plasma and fire the thing off. Slow, but powerful.

Tex: Interesting. Think you can do anything with it?

Tek: Yeah. I can re-program their algorithms for the magnetic field. I can turn the plasma torpedoes intoa steady stream of plasma that can slice through any ship we can make, and most of theirs. It'll generate less weapons-heat too, so we can fire more for less.

Leo A-01: Hey, tech-heads. Cut the chatter.

[VoxEladrin]

ooc: Wait a second...didnt we just raid the bridge already?

Simon B-01: Tek, I didn't know you were smart!

Tek: Oh ha ha...

Leo A-01: Hey, y'all deaf? I said cut it!

Simon B-01: Sorry, sir.

[Final Warrior]

((No, we raided the weapons control and docking bays.))

*Moving in silence, silence that seemed unnatural to such large figures, the DREAM MAKERs snuck up to their first door. Raising his hand, Leo signals for a room entry demolition charge. He signals to for everyone to check their HUDs. On the HUD, everyone can see that the room is filled with Nagalisk. Simon steps to Leo, handing him a 10-kilo pack of C4.*

Simon whistled when he saw all of the C4 handed to him.

Simon: Daaaaaaamn, you're really serious about this one, boss.

Leo: Serious enough to stir them up quite a bit.


OOC: I am making a campaign in Starcraft. It has to do with the end of DREAM MAKER (the first mission) and the new squadron that rises from the ashes (forgot what I named it, lol). Leo and Simon are in the first two missions so far, and the second mission is to rescue Kate and kill the captain of a ship.

[Final Warrior]

Leo planted the brick of high explosives on the door.

"Once this door gets blown to holy hell, pray 'n spray. Now move back."

The team retreated a safe distance down the hall, shifting their weight around slightly.

"On my mark. Three..."

Kate chambered a round in her gun.

"Two..."

Leo slapped his gun's magazine as Kate replaced hers with a new one, a round still chambered.

"One..."

Simon un-safed his SADAR.

"MARK!"

The 10-kilo brick of C4 flashed for an instant, detonating, blowing a cloud of smoke and debris, flame and heat inwards, into the room. A split-second later, the roar of the explosion filled the hallway, shaking everything.

Leo rushed forward, barely clearing the giant flame, his suit's polarized lens darkening his HUD so he could see through the flash of light, its crystalized liquid cushioning cooling down by nearly a hundred degrees Celsius. First in the room, Leo threw a smoke grenade and lobbed a white phosphorous grenade from his gun, smoking and burning out the room.

"MOVE IT!"

Slipping in svelte as a cat, Katie began to surgically execute Nagalisks with her powerful rifle. With each loud, resounding shot, the sound of gore splattering on walls and the floor could be heard if one listened closely.

"Hey boys, switch to thermal in twelve seconds. The heat will have warmed up the Nagalisk."

OOC: Awesome! It's just too bad I don't have SC anymore... T_T

OOC: aw damn that sucks. I would have emailed it to you (it's 1player like the actual campaign and i still have bugs to fix (like the bloody doors that kate and the boss are behind....))

Simon charged into the opening, switching his view to thermal as he was ordered and saw the Nagalisk shapes instantly. He opened fire with his SADAR rocket launcher, blowing a Nagalisk to tiny bits. He rolled to one side, and let his minigun do the talking to three Elites, tearing them to shreds.

Simon B-01: Yeeeeehaaaaw! I live for this stuff!

[Final Warrior]

Leo started his minigun, the rounds shredding Nagalisk. Leo and the rest of the team activated their thermal optics. The Nagalisk appeared as amorphous shapes, glowing red and yellow, orange and blue. The weapons fire came out as a bright orange, and every hit that the Nagalisk took spattered red.

All of his guns blazing, Leo silently shot everything to pieces, alongside Simon and a few others. Katie and her team of psionic specialists, moving like ghosts, decimated Nagalisk at short-range, while Tex and Tek hacked the ship's computers.

Simon was whooping with joy at blowing Nagalisk brains out. He had a huge smile on his face, almost insane. His guns roared as he decimated (i like that word) the Nagalisks alongside Leo and Kate.

Eventually, the bridge was full with dead Nagalisks and the Alpha and Beta squads, standing in all of their glory.

Simon B-01: Let's pack up and go home, boys. Drinks are on me!

[Final Warrior]

Leo grinned, ever so slightly, underneath his intimidating helmet.

"Alright. Get the squids in here. Tex, Tek, we'll be needing you to stay on-board for a while, to link up this and our ships. C'mon. We've still got a couple of pockets of Nagalisk. Let's mop up on our way out."

The rest of the DREAM MAKERs yelled "Hoo-rah!" at this, chambering rounds, slapping in fresh mags, and grabbing ammunition.

Katie, inspecting one of the Nagalisk corpses, signaled to a Marine. "Get our xenobiologist team onboard. They'll wanna check out these corpses. And the squids can look 'em over for weapons."

As Alpha and Bravo moved through the rest of the ship, the "squids" marched in. Hardcore tech geeks, they begin rifling through every computer, console, weapons cache, the armory, engines, everything.

Meanwhile, Beta squad was already half way to the dropships. Simon shouldered his SADAR and then boarded the dropship.

Simon B-01: Hurry up, or I'm leaving without ya, ladies.
