*Within mere minutes the remaining Nodes are wired up and ready to go. The Sharp Warrior hovers over the center of the Mesa above the stone Monolith as The Tech Warrior finishes up.*

Everyone! I'M GETTING US THE HELL OUTTA HERE!

*Mists form around everyone, including Wolfz and Tanya ((they may be in warrior form, but I forgot the exact title...)) and the world begins to dissolve. The last thing that can be seen is a huge explosion enveloping the remaining Nodes. The blast if deafening, blinding, silencing, numbing, and mind shattering all at the same time. The human mind simply cannot comprehend what is happening at this moment in time. Six Nodes bneing wiped from existance. There is only one word for this occurence.*

*Annilation*

*With the destruction of the Life Node, memories of each person's days come flooding back, images of a childhood, however long ago it may have been, for some it was longer than others. Images of their loved ones and hated enemies. Images of their allies. Images of slain Mages. Images of Ainar carrying them away in great magestic hands of the purest white, and the vilest black.... and then, it was over. All at once the entire group awakened in the Sanctuary, it had been days since the Mages were struck a blow at the Mesa, everyone had returned to their normal forms. Medics and doctors stood over them flabberghasted as they awoke. They had seemed to be in a sort of trance that nothing could reverse, technological or magical, all except for Ainar. He had been standing watch ove rthem all the while, his skin now as molten metal in small patches, almost as if it were alive.*

"We have strucka blow that will force the balance to become closer to the goal we all seek, but the Magi Hand Nation is still out there, and they still long for our extinction. I have seen the future, and I know that this near-balance is still in their favor, and will slowly slip back to them."

*Ainar walks away from the others, a secluded spot, and begins to stare at the Turaman*

~~Back at the Mesa~~

*All that remains is the small shards of Iron and the Monolith, stretching from the ground the where the top of the mesa had been. As the wind blows around it, the sides form into twelve perfect faces and shatter along the edges. The towering Monolith glows from within and the twelve sides fall to the ground, each glowing a different color while the center glows brightest of all. It belongs not to any of the 12 Nodes, but to itself. It glows with a pulsing light of the times to come, it is a new form of Magic, a new beginning.*

~~Back at The Snactuary once more~~

*The patches of living metal across Ainar skin pulse with light as the Monolith had been.*

Wolfz and Tanya have gotten up and wandered around a bit. The destruction has done more to them than the others in the group, as they have also been flooded with memories of a past life, of a future life -- however you look at it. They settle on a spot, finally, to have a seat and private conversation. It is a bench in one of the few green spots in this technological haven. They sit, and still fresh with the memories, they lean their heads against each other.

Tanya: I suppose your felandering days are over...
Wolfz: I guess so. I can't believe what the mesa's destruction unleashed...
Tanya: I thought I was going to die for the longest time.
Wolfz: You are a creature of magic.
Tanya: Yeah... Magical energies took a big hit. I think the total energies favor us now.
Wolfz: Indeed. We are a balance between tech and mana. We'll see soon, though
Tanya: Indeed.
Wolfz: Shall we search for the other two, soon?
Tanya: We should.

Wolfz and Tanya continue to sit and talk for a long while. They, now, are beginning to feel their true power. However, they also are begining to feel the coming cataclysm. They can't explain it or pinpoint it, but there's a distinct feeling of impending doom. They just sit and watch the park...live.

*Ainar leaves for his Workbench and starts creating something new...*

*Ren goes to the Repair Bay to work on some projects.*

Katie: how do you mean?

Sam: when thoe demons attacked, he headed off to the east...to Khalamya. I was born and raised in that country.

Katie: I see... well all i can say is that we will find your father, no matter the costs.

Sam: thanks... *goes to a bunk and sleeps because the destruction of the mesa had effected him too. the darkness and the fire nodes were Vox and Sam's sorce of power. yet as Sam drifts into dreamy sleep, he begins to feel...power. yet this isbt the corrupting power. this seems to feel like life anew. as if he had been born again.*

Katie: i know how he feels... but my past life is over now.

Rhianna: Raphael... what'd you see?

*Raphael is poised with his back against a way fof support. He has multiple bandages on his arms, chest and legs. His left arm has been immobilized because he pulled a muscle. Raphael looks up, thinking.*

Raphael: ... Nothing.

Rhianna: Nothing...? I doubt that.

Raphael: Oh? Well, I can't change you. Maybe I did see something. Or maybe I'm just a mechanical construct, built with one purpose: to defeat Lord Apocalypse. Maybe that's why all I saw was... nothing.

Rhianna: You saw something. Whatever it was, it changed you.

Raphael: Hmm... I've lived for a long, long time. Before anyone could remember. Before the Gods were worshipped. Before mana was found. Maybe I saw my actions, or the results of them, from a different perspective. Maybe I'm a fluke. A lucky break.

Rhianna: What are you saying?

Raphael: Maybe I'm a glitch in the system. Maybe I was never to exist.

Rhianna: What about Tyravael and Rezael?

Raphael: They are variations of the same glitch, but different.

Rhianna: Stop it. This isn't like you, Raphael.

Raphael: Oh? And what is like me? Am I supposed to be the invincible leader? The emotionless warrior, doing what he is told? I am not a SPARTAN. I'm not Master Chief.

Rhianna: Raphael?...

Raphael: Leave me alone. I need to contemplate about my existance.

Raphael: Ainar, will we be leaving soon? A presence of evil looms around here... yet I cannot recognize it. It's familiar... and yet not. I fear for all who stay within this realm.

Rhianna: Aometare?

Raphael: Possibly. But I'd recognize him.

Sam:*wakes up suddenly* woah... i sense evil.

Raphael: see Ainar? even the little one senses an evil.

Ainar: ...be on your guard we are being watched

Sam: *draws Flame Dancer*

Raphael: *draws a sword* show yourself AOMETARE!!!

Wolfz and Tanya suddenly jump up, eyes wide. Wolfz pulls out his staff, and his clothes change to his monk clothing. He looks at Tanya, holding her Bow, and they nod at eachother.

Wolfz: I don't like that, and I'm definetly fighting this time!
Tanya: I agree. Let's go!
