the dwarf: may, i hate this damn battle either way, these people are barbaric indeed! but since i feel your smart enough, ill trust your opinion. ill be outside, this place makes me sick.

Hero's sword, splice, again takes the form of a head on the hilt. The slits for eyes widen and the mouth opens as he screams: The neutrals were not honest! I sense lies on their parchment!

The sword rambles on with profuse profanity until hero looks at it, and it becomes an inatimate object yet again. Hero walks up to may, grabs neutrals parchment, rolls it up, and smokes it.

Splice opens up again and says softly: The master is angry... very angry... he does not like what he senses in these neutral people... i fear for us all... we must leave to our realm for a few days... we cannot stay... where we can do harm... must... must vent!

And hero flicks his sword above him, and literally tears a whole in the air, where a whirl wind of death, destruction, and very painfull memories slam into the party like a literal train... knocking all but may off their feet.

May has a look of thought on her face as she comtemplates soemthing in her mind...

ooc: we won't be fighting golems often, but when we do, we will either be fighting a siege golem or a flesh golem. For the siege golem, piercing attacks do nothing (arrows, rapiers, etc) slashing does half (most other swords and swallows) and it is immune to magic. For the flesh golem, no death effect spells, holy spells, or cold based spells have any effect, all weapon types do normal damage. And on the matter of the neutral townshipS (this is plural, remember that) lying on their parchments, they could not have lied.

*May sits in the middle of the park on the outskirts of the town meditating while an army run past her on all sides, on the retreat*

May: Looks like the Kortuganorians are employing another tactic of war.

*a second army made of slightly humanoid looking creatures with oddly shaped heads and a few mages runs past her, but are met with a huge force closing from all sides, another battle ensues. May simple walks out of the park and back to where the majority of the party is waiting. She reaches out to Ryu to have him return*

May: Well, *sigh* I was hoping that we could do this democratically, but it seems you have all left the decision to me. After much deliberation *she pauses as Ryu appears* I have decided to assist The Neutral Townships. Our first objective is to get to the town of Kivicks. Thats where our main base of operation will be. If we were to walk, it would be several days, straight through Kutaganor Lands, thats where Ryu comes in handy...

*Reyan finally arives in Kivicks*

Town Leader: Ahh, Welcome! Aren't there more with you?

Reyan: I chose to help you out. The others were still deciding when I left.

Town Leader: You may have to fight them. Does that matter to you?

Reyan: I will fight whoever is necissary...

Town Leader: We have a few rooms reserved for you at the Inn... Unfortunatly we could only reserve 3.

Reyan: Ok, I will wait in the Inn... Tell the others... if they come that is... that I will be in the Inn...

Town Leader: I will do that.

*Reyan smiles and walks to the town Inn*

[Hot Action Akule]

In a dark dark world, through a vision, may see's a man holding a brilliant sword of power and craftsmanship she has never seen before. He wears a brilliant white glowing robe, and he is standing tall and proud in front of an army of soldiers clad in white. She cannot see the mans face, but she can feel his power. He seems to command this magnificant army, all with swords such as splice in a sheath on their backs. With a yell in a language may cannot understand, the men all pull out their weapons, and hold them high. The white aura emitting from them is incredable, and the man on the large rock commanding them still cant be seen fully. He holds up his sword, which is a brilliant white blade of pure power and a metal unknown to her. With a sizzling sound, the man slides something into the hilt, and the sword suddenly turns black. A shock wave hits the man in the face, and two scars are visable... one down his eye, one on his lower lip. His cloak turns black suddenly, and the army around him is sent flying backward as the sword emits a shockwave leveling the forest. What ever was put into the sword corrupted it. It fused with the mans arm, and the blade was outstreched. The hilt was now a round tube that literally became part of the mans arm, which was now a bunch of black veins that crawled upward torward his face, stopping at his neck. THe blade glowed a dark deep red, before a blast so great all the men and buildings in the brilliant city were leveled... everyone died except the user, and the entire race was whiped out. The great weapon then erupted, parts flying into the sky and landing all around. The souls of those killed by it were trapped in the hilt of the blade, which now formed a face.

The Angelic Splice has been corrupted
Use for means of conquest... all shall die
All will survive....
Forever trapped in the hilt of the Splice
Until the weapon is reformed
And used for good


And then may was awake in a pool of sweat. Though she did not see the man she knew who and what he was... but she decided it was best to not reveal him to the others.





In the dark plains, hero was awoken with a startle. His thoughts corroded... he felt an ominese presence. In the morning he leaves for the cruesaders... he decided.

*When she returns to thw town hall, Ryu and the others await her*

May: Well then, Ryu, open the portal to Kivicks. We have much to do, undead to slay, monks to bash, armies to pacify.

Ryu: Very well, but you seem a bit preoccupied, is there anything on your mind?

May: No, I just want to get this mission over with so I can continue on my quest.

*Ryu opens a portal to Kivicks, just outside the City Hall. As may steps through she is greeted by The Mayor*

Mayor: We have been awaiting your arrival. We have much that we need to get done. This city
hasn't been affected by the war as much as the others. This is mostly due to the fact that we have a small army of our own, which actually gets formal training, and we're off the battlefield completely. I'm sure you want to jump right in, so here you are, your first assignment.

*The Mayor hands May a piece of parchment with their mission written on it as the rest step through*

May (she reads aloud):
To: May, leader of the 42nd Squad of The Crusaders of the Open Palm
From: Kivicks Intelligence

We have recently discovered that The Empire of Kotaganor is sending a Supply Convoy to their outposts (they have a total of 12, 8 arranged in a very orderly fashion around their capitol) that is to be escorted by some of their elite Red Guard. These Red Guard are nopt to be under estimated. You mission is to intercept the convoy, destroy the escort and then escort the convoy to Boscha, Tartio, and finally Kivicks. The distances between their outposts are small, if a single runner gets away, you'll have half an army on your tail. Try not to damage the supplies en route. That is all we have for you, good luck.

Can I join? From what I've read you are just about to leave town, so i'm just on time (lucky me) If I can join, it'll be my 1st RPG, and my character is Cloud.

Weapon:Energy Blades that appear from bracers that he wears
Equipment:Armor that is commonly used by his class and race, only upgraded for his own purposes.
Abilities:
1.Invulnerablility-Turn he and all those around him invinsible for a short time(aprox.30 seconds) (uses 50 essence power)
2.Speed up- Makes Cloud extremely fast for a short ammount of time (aprox. 1 min 30 seconds) (uses 40 essence power)
3.Lightning Blast- Shoots a strong bolt of lightning at the opponent (uses 25 essence power)

Special Attacks (Limit Breaks, basicly): (all only used when limit meter is full,or when special occasion arrises, if you know what I mean)
1.Dark Slash-Deal greater than normal damage to the opponent.
2.Double Slice-Attacks opponent twice
3.Drain Blade-Steals health from an opponent(ammount grows as Cloud gets stronger)
4.Lightning Cut-Strikes opponent multiple times with growing strength
5.Omnislash-If you've ever seen Limit Level 4 for Cloud on FF7, you know what it is. If not, you missed out!

*A tear appears in the front of may, and a dark cloaked man walks out. His face is completely covered and his sword splice starts to speach in its usuall screeching voice*

Master is... ill. Something happened last night. He will fight though.. he must fight! We will kill! death and destruction. Once we get done he is going east to the hills... where he sensed something in the mountains. (ooc: a splice stick for his sword. i'll be back im just gonna not post for a lil while )

May: I suggest we start for outpost 12, thats the closest one and most likely where the convoy is now. having already visited 1-8 in an orderly fashion. The actions of the Kutaganor Empire are highly predictable.
