The Dragonis War

He nodded and then took up the woman and carried her off to a tree nearby, and set her down there. "Stay here and keep out of trouble." He said and went back to where Asakai fought.

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

"Please Young man help her.Please help my daughter." The woman spoke sadly lookign at Torque.

Ekiji and Asakai ruthlessly let the scriptures thrash at one another."You can't defeat me Ekiji!" She yelled holdign her hands out so the aura of the scriptures flew at him fulll force."I can't but he can!" Ekiji yelled back as the red haired man came flying at Asakai tears in his eyes.

Torque barely heard the woman he had rescued and he was caught up in all of the emotion of the battle in front of them. "Hardly fair, Ekiji. You bring in others to do your dirty work for you? How about you just fight her one on one the honorable way." He said and moved to remove the red haired man from the battle.

The Shears of Atropos clanged against the drakotaur's sinister blades as Thaltos and Vaal danced in a whirling pattern of expert swordsmanship. Vaal's significantly greater size afforded him a slight advantage, but the Gorgon speed of Thaltos kept him a step ahead of the demon dragonman's weapons.

"You always were a nimble little beast, Thaltos. Hold still so that I may free you from your cursed mortal flesh! Rraagh!"

Vaal brought his heavy tail down in a thunderous crash that cracked the stone steps of the plaza they had happened to wander across, right where Thaltos had been a split second ago. Rolling out of the way and drawing a ragged line across the armored tail with one of the Shears, Thaltos taunted back.

"You speak with much confidence for one who has already felt the embrace of death at my blades. Come closer, I would love to add your new pair of wings to their brothers on my wall at home."

Vaal roared with rage as the words stung him, the original loss of his wings a very sore wound in his soul. There was little more to humiliate one of airborn dragon blood than the robbery of one's wings, and the vicious removal of them in his first battle with the Gods' Assassin had infuriated him.

"Your blades will never again feel the taste of my flesh, spawn of Gorgons! The very wings you once severed shall crush the life from your broken and ruined body! I will lift your corpse above the Altar of Daemon as an offering of servitude!"

Vaal roared and beat his wings with a single powerful gust that lifted his heavy upper torso off the ground, and slammed his forelegs into the ground. A ripple of kinetic energy shockwaved out from around him, causing Thaltos to stumble. Vaal was on him in seconds, spinning around to deliver a clawed mulekick to his chest that could shatter marble. Thaltos flew through the air to an abrupt stop as his back smashed against a stone pillar at the front of a building. Falling to the ground in a heap, he groaned. Vaal was a lot stronger than he was the first time they fought...Thaltos knew he could win this fight, but he wasn't quite sure how yet...

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

"...YA!" She kickflipped the red haired man into Torque. She landed looking more pissed than she ever had been."...You force me to do something very....very...bad..."She started to unclip most of the bangles on her arms and her rings slid off her fingers. There was a very large pulse of demonic and holy energy. Asakai was gone in her place as a body of blue light."..Feel the power of twenty limiters gone." She smiled emerging from the light her hair was a silver color as a set of double black wings emerged from her back."Your life and scriptures are mine!" She yelled at Ekiji.

Torque caught the red haired man and set him with the woman he rescued before and returned to see that Asakai was changed. The light was brilliant and he was amazed to see how much more aggressive she got. So powerful...she must really be pissed. He thought to himself.

"Gojyo are you alright?"The woman asked placing a hand on his shoulder."Meh...I'll live. You know me Tsubaki I always bounce back."He gave her a smile."My god it's Tsubaki-Sanzo." Akira bowed low to the ground."Hmm?"Tsubaki looked at him clueless.

Ekiji backed up a few steps."Don't tell me you're already pissing your pants Ekiji. The fun hasn't even started." She held her hand out as the monk fell to the ground gasping for air."I-it's...n-n-not possible!" He fell to his knees."You should feel honored to die under my power. Ekiji you are nothing more than a mortal kissed by greed. Even twenty limiters off is hundred fold more than I need to kill you. I am barely running at a tenth of my true power. You dared to revive my parents and then let the lives of those innocent holymen die for the sake of your quest for power....prepare to be crushed by your sins!" She lifted her hand up along with Ekiji's body."By the power of the Seiten sanctity...and the power of Kouten the unknown...may death seek your soul and tear it to shreds!" The monk's body exploded to pieces leaving a shower of rain to wash down."...may hell take no pity on you." She turned to look at Torque after pickign up the Maten scripture and allowing it to enter her body. Her aura was growing stronger as she absorbed its power. Her power limiter's asembled back onto her body. Her aura was becomming even stronger now that she held three scriptures.The light around her dissipated leaving her to return to normal only her body was no longer covered with the marking her skin was clear except for the two scratches on her face. She couldn't help but to fall foreward exhausted she would need time to adjust to her new power.

Torque quickly caught her while she fell, still dumbstruck at the immense power of her transformation. "Are you alright, love?" He asked her in a quiet voice.

"I'll....be..alright." She gave him a small smile."I've never taken off my limiters..let alone twenty." She stood up slowly."Oi..kid hands off the offspring." The man with red hair spoke wrapping one of Asakai's arms around his neck."Please foregive his rudeness young man." The red haired woman from before bowed her apology. She extended a hand towards him."Allow me to introduce myself...My name is Tsubaki Sanzo." She was a very kind woman she looked no older than her early twenties.

Torque frowned when Asakai was taken from him. "Excuse me?" He asked the red haired man. He bowed his head to the woman though, being polite to ladies as always. "Well met, lady Sanzo. I am Torque Dragonis III, Heir of the Dragonis family."

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

"The second? I remember years ago meeting Torque Dragonis....anyways call me Tsubaki." She smield again. The red haired man quirked an eyebrow at Torque."I suppose you probally wanna know who I am. Name's Sha Gojyo....Ladies man Legend." Gojyo smiled a cigarette sticking out of his mouth. He picked Asakai up bridal style."You've gotten bigger since I last saw you."He looked down at Asakai as he spoke."...Gojyo it's been nearly thirteen years since we last saw her." Akira ran up next to Torque panting."But Sanzo-sama you're dead."

"No...I'm the third. You must be ancient if you knew the Second..." He said and his face turned into a glare when Gojyo picked up Asakai. "Let her go, it's rude to do that without her consent you know." He said. "Some ladies man you are..." He sneered at the man. "And little Akira here says you're dead. Care to explain?"

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

Gojyo just smirked."Asakai is my daughter...and little Akira's right we died over thirteen years ago." Tsubaki cleared her throat gently."He speaks the truth I'm Asakai's mother...you see we were killed in the Great battle to seal Daemon the first time he was defeated. Then we believe someone dug up our remains and...brought us back to life. You see Ekiji was my monk brethren...my belief is that he dug us up to use us in Daemon's army." Tsubaki smiled even though she knew it would be alot to take in."

Torque nodded understandingly. "Alright, but while you're here you will not be doing any Daemon worshiping or working for him anymore, got it?" He commanded them. Though young in years, he had the militaristic training mentally that he got from his father. He smiled reassuringly. "And don't worry, your daughter's safe with me."

"Who said we were worshipping Daemon or working for that over grown lizard? We just got stuck working for that over hyped monk reject." Gojyo continued to hold Asakai."Gojyo be nice. We aren't with your old party..." She whacked Gojyo over the head."We would be greatful to join your party Mr. Dragonis." Tsubaki smiled."Now Gojyo hand Asakai to him we have work to do." Tsubaki grabbed the six foot talll man by the ear dragging over to Torque."One scratch on her kid and I'lll...ow ow ow!" Gojyo dropped Asakai being dragged off by Tsubaki by the ear.

Torque merely smiled and then grinned at Asakai. "Charming parents you have." He said. "At least your mother is." He admitted and then put his hand on the hilt of his sword and looked at Thaltos fighting Vaal. That fight was intense as well, he was having trouble gauging who was the stronger.

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

"...I really wouldn't know..." She spoke looking away from him."We better take care of the townspeople before they get caught up in this." She began to walk away dissappearing into the crowd of frightend people.

[Ninja_Blue]

After a big clash of swords, Balthizar stumbled back gasping for air, he spoke with a raspy voice, "You have gotten better at fighting since the last time we met..."

"Yes, much better than you!" Alkalor shouted as he attacked Balthizar, but his attack was parried.

"You seem to be a bit tired, eh? That's the downside of being a mortal, you get tired quickly. Too bad you don't have demon blood in your veins anymore." Alkalor sneered.

"Pity you have demon blood in your veins!" Balthizar said as he tried to regain his energy.

I can't do this for any longer, or I'll end up making a fatal mistake....and then Daemon will get what he wants, and I will never let that happen.... Balthizar thought.
