The Dragonis War

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

She was about to say something when she shivvered slightly."Th-there is a scripture nearby....no...three..." She continued to shiver. She leapt up running out of the doorway and out of the Inn she could feel the strong aura of the scriptures before it vanished near the edge of the forest.She stopped looking around. She spotted Balthizar."What are you doing here?" She questioned him growling.

[VoxEladrin]

Torque ran outside, hand resting on Deathscream's hilt. "Something's wrong?" He asked, not that knowledgeable in all of this scripture business.

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

"I must have been mistaken...I thought I felt the scriptures....but alll I found was Balthizar."She turned putting a hand on Torque's shoulder."My...senses must still be a little mixed up..."She spoke softly.She looked back at Balthizar,"But why are you out here?" She asked him.

[Ninja_Blue]

((Sorry, I'm still on vacation, but I do find just a tad time for a "break" to post.))

"Nothing." he growled as he marched off towards the tavern, he continued as he marched "Nothing that concerns you.....or at least anyone for that matter....".

When Balthizar got to the tavern, he walked straight to his room, ignoring everything and everyone around him.

He then just sat on his bed and pondered.

"...I trust him...as far as I can throw him." She spoke looking at Torque.'...I couldn't have been wrong. I felt them clear as day...' She shook her head. That's when Akira emerged form the forest with a basket full of herbs."Lady Asakai I found these herbs for our journey." He smiled happily.She gave a sigh before starting to walk away. She spoke not even looking at him," For the last time you are not comming with us Akira you're too much of a weakling." Akira just looked at her.

((Yikes, I take some damn time off to spend with the g/f, and this thing goes through another complete page....I swear Vox, you and your friends have a habit of usurping RPs, lol.

Right now I don't even know where Thaltos is supposed to be...))

((XD wow when I left I didn't miss a thing. Right now I think we are still in the town where you were supposed to go.))

((I had a writer's block but I think I'll try posting. Welcome back Vadriel and thanks for the compliment. Thaltos should be at the inn with the others. I have a new RP thread up, please check it out :x))

Torque put his hand on the back of Asakai's neck gently. "Relax, he's just out for a walk." He said and led her back inside the inn.

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

"Do you think we will be able to leave...by dawn?" She asked looking at Torque sitting at one of the tables. There was a sense of urgency in her voice.

[Vadriel]

Thaltos came out of a side room, where he'd been resting for a while. "I am ready to leave when you are...I'm getting bored. Balthizar seems pretty happy here, but life in the public eye has never suited me very well..."

As if to punctuate his point, a passing couple in the inn gave Thaltos a wary look and picked up their pace.

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

"I see....then it is agreed.Good night Torque...Thaltos." She stood and left up the stairs Akira following after her hurriedly he turned and bowed before disappearing alogn with Asakai.

[Vadriel]

Thaltos crossed his arms and popped his neck, then looked at Torque. "I haven't been about, and regrettably not the most aware. What is going on?"

[VoxEladrin]

He shook his head. "I...killed my brother, Thaltos." He said. "But he nearly killed me as well, had it not been for Asakai healing me when I was a breath away from death." He recapped. He avoided looking at Thaltos while he spoke, his mind troubled from the memory of the fight. "Then...Asakai and I developed a bond...something that no one can take away from us. Dare I say it? Love." He said and gave a small smile. He looked up the stairs where she had walked up. "I am going to help her not be used as a tool. She can be a person." He said and then stood up. "We'll need an early start tomorrow, get some sleep my friend." He said and then walked up stairs, knocking on Asakai's door. "Are you still awake?"

Thaltos sighed and leaned against a wall. Love. The thought of it disgusted him, because it was something he'd never have. Even though there were much uglier things out there, most men and beasts found it difficult to trust Thaltos...the tainted air of his mother's legacy left its mark on him in more ways than just the writhing tendrils of his hair, blackened skin, and crimson reptile eyes...he carried the stain upon his soul, and it was felt by all.

Did the townsfolk of everywhere he went not realize that he could see the looks of fear? The looks of utter disgust? Thaltos was not a famous creature, but he was still fairly well known at least in these areas...and was not liked. It's the kind of thing you come to expect when you're the spawn of beasts, and exist to slaughter...

Thaltos pushed thoughts of self-loathing and pity out of his mind. There was no time for it. He uncrossed his arms and relaxed his tensed muscles, and wandered through the inn looking for Balthizar.

She heard knocking and rose walking over to the door. Then she heard Torque and she opened the door slightly."...Like I said I don't sleep." She opened the door for him."Try to be quiet...he finally went to sleep." She pointed over at Akira. She ended up sitting by the window again the only difference she didn't look sad she kind of had a glow around her.

[VoxEladrin]

He walked into her room and closed the door quietly behind him. He sat next to her, staring out at the night sky. "It's a beautiful night. Almost as beautiful as you." He said offhandedly, smiling at her.

[Ninja_Blue]

Balthizar jumped up out of bed gasping, he was drenched with sweat, he had a terrible vision, and needed to talk to Thaltos quickly.

He exited his room and saw Thaltos almost immediatly, Thaltos was about to say something, but Balthizar didn't let him, "Daemon has sent his elite gaurd after me, to this town, if we do not leave now, we risk the deaths of everyone in this town!" Balthizar said this gasping and sweating.

[Vadriel]

Thaltos snapped to attention, the Shears already in his hands.

"Ok, Balthizar. We'll go get the others and leave at once. To be honest, I was about ready to go myself..."

The two of them hurried to Asakai's room and Thaltos slammed through the door. Asakai and Torque were sitting near each at the window, and Thaltos' eyebrow raised slightly. Shaking it off, he returned to business.

"Balthizar claims that Daemon's elite guard is on its way here. I don't know how he knows this, but if it's true we must leave immediately. If the demons come here looking for us, the entire populace of this town will be slaughtered. Gather what little you need to prepare and let's go."

Pausing in the doorway for a short moment to look back at them, Thaltos left the room and returned to Balthizar.

"They've been told. We'll be leaving presently."

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

She was about to say something when her door came flying open she reached for the dagger hidden in her robe when she saw it was Thaltos she backed down."I see...very well." She rose stirring Akira from his sleep.She rushed into the changing sheild of the room and quickly dressed her new black cloak covering her body."Let's go." She spoke looking at Torque.

Torque was slightly irritated that Thaltos disturbed the mood but he shrugged it off and nodded to Asakai. He made sure his sword was clear in its scabbard and he picked up his pack and headed out with Asakai and Akira. "Where do we go to?" He asked, running his fingers through his long bleached white hair.
