The Dragonis War

[Ninja_Blue]

"Rest sounds great right now." Balthizar replied as he laid down. "Hopefully soon, Zeus will grant me some power, so I am not stuck as some weak mortal. Makes me feel insignificant......"

Balthizar dozed off quickly, but not without out some more mumbling.

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

"Get your rest....I'll keep watch." She sat looking over the shrine. Sleep was not one thing she was happy to get. Sleep was torture. She decided it was best to go gether some herbs on the lower level." Anything...but sleep..."

((My internet was down for a while, sorry guys))

Torque woke up and looked around. "Hrm...slept for longer than I thought..." He muttered. "Must have been more exhausted than I ever have been before." He said then saw Asakai on watch. He took it upon himself to sit a couple paces beside her. "Evening, miss Asakai." He said, looking over at her. "Are you okay?"

Balthizar mumbled to Torque, ".....Probably best to leave her alone....."

[VoxEladrin]

He looked over at Balthazaar, arching an eyebrow. "Why? What happened?" He asked, curious at what happened whilst he slept.

[Ninja_Blue]

((STOP MISPELLING MY NAME PLEASE! IT'S B-A-L-T-H-I-Z-A-R. I don't mispell Torque, now do I????))

[Vadriel]

Thaltos roused himself and got up, walking over to Torque and Balthizar. Putting a hand on Torque's shoulder, he nodded.

"It's been a long night...Asakai had a run-in with someone we believe to be your brother. Things were a little complicated, and tempers were soaring a little last night..."

[Ninja_Blue]

"Tempers soaring my ass. Could've ended in a damn fistfight." Balthizar said.

[Vadriel]

Thaltos chuckled. "Lucky for you, it didn't."

[Ninja_Blue]

"You really shouldn't doubt my skill, I've won a many a fight in my day." Balthizar said cockily.

[Vadriel]

Thaltos snickered. "I do not doubt this, but quite frankly...Asakai would have whupped your ass, human."

[Ninja_Blue]

Balthizar chuckled, "Maybe so, but I don't hit women."

[Vadriel]

With a dark grin, Thaltos replied. "Doesn't mean she wouldn't hit you."

((I think we just made our characters like, super-modernized. I can't think of anything right now.))

Torque suddenly turned serious and stood up, hand resting on the hilt of Deathscream. "If Gai's here I'm going after him. I have a bone to pick with my brother...and it's a painful bone." He said and looked down at his three companions. "Asakai already knows what I'm about to say since she met my ancestor.

"You two don't know much about me, but I know enough about you. I'm going to even it out. The Dragonis family is thrice cursed. They are ancient, dark curses brought upon me by my ancestors. The first curse is this sword here." He half drew Deathscream out of its scabbard and dropped it back in again. "This sword is cursed with an ancient curse from its forging thousands of years ago." He said then elaborated on it. "It is a soul stealing sword. Once the black flame pattern on it completely consumes the sword, it will be able to steal the souls of its victims. These souls will be locked in torment within the blade and every soul that is stolen makes the sword stronger. Of course with every good comes the bad; the sword can get over loaded with souls and when it is overloaded it causes an explosion which kills the user. It must be bled every 150 years to release the souls inside and put them into the afterlife." He explained. "If anyone who takes up the sword that does not have Dragonis blood in them, they will promptly go mad, tearing their hair, eyes out and basicly rip themselves apart. I believe you saw that earlier." He said without emotion.

"The second curse is in regards to the person. It's called the love curse." He said. "It was brought down by Davis Dragonis whom was a womanizer. Every Dragonis from him onwards would have to suffer this curse. The Dragonis will only have two loves his whole life, one of lust and the other of true love. My great great great grandfather had a painful life before he met his true love. The woman he loved before her, he had to watch her be married with another man, one he never met before but she said it was his childhood friend." He said. "Many Dragonises suffered from this curse...not being able to be with the woman they love and have to move on to someone else."

He sighed. "The third curse is the most painful of all. The offspring curse. It was also brought down by Davis Dragonis, whom had many bastard children. Every Dragonis can only have one child per spouse. Even if they wanted to have another, they would not be able to. Every few years or so, twins would be born." He cut off a bit then looked sullen. "Like my brother and me." He said then continued. "Only one of the two twins can inherit the cursed blade. The twins will grow up being the best of friends and then they will grow apart. One will be evil, the other good. They will fight for whoever will wield the sword. One must die." He said with grave seriousness. "There can only be one child." He said then lowered his head. "The first twin Dragonises that were born had went seperate ways during life. The one named Torque was the evil one. He apprenticed under Toroque Van Sagen, whom taught him all about souls and murder. He went on a killing spree and did 150 years worth of killing. The sword blew him and and the house he was in to pieces but he lived only long enough to see his brother cradle him in his arms and then take his sword." He said then looked aside.

"Those are my family's curses. That is what I must live with and my decendants must live with for eternity."

Balthizar bowed his head in respect, "Very well, you should be on your way immediatly, I don't think any of will stop you. I cannot stand in the way of honor." Balthizar said as he sat back down.

[VoxEladrin]

He nodded to Balthizar. "You may accompany if you wish, as my second if I should fall against Gai." He said. He looked over at Thaltos and Asakai. "You two may accompany me as well. Gai will suffer by my blade, I will not let him have it."

[Ninja_Blue]

Balthizar stood up and grabbed Hibiki and Michi, "Very well than, I've got your back. But I will not assist you during combat, that is dishonorable, and when it comes to honor, I don't mess around." Balthizar said this as he put Hibiki and Michi across his back.

[Vadriel]

Thaltos slowly took the Shears from their resting place across his back. He snarled in anticipation.

"This is not my quarrel, but the Shears need to feed. Should you require my aid in releasing the souls of any enemies of Olympus, I will fight beside you."

[Asakai-miko-Midoriko]

(I'm gone for a day and everyone decides to be active. -.-'))

Asakai stood."Thaltos is right...I would have left you begging...and besides I don't hit girls either." She smirked walking past Balthizar."Your brother stole my first kiss he must pay." She looked at Torque intently." Like I said before....I'm cheering for you."Sheplaced a hand on his shoulder giving him a kind smile. A smile that was quite elegant."I still have a mission to collect the scriptures from Daemon....I cannot return to my home until then. So might as well make use of my time."
