There will be many ways to gain points once the contest starts. You will be able to get points from quality informative posts, referrals, backlinks, mini-raffles, etc. More information will be released when the contest begins in around 4 days.

how long will the contest last? also if were doing referals...will we have referal links? because honostly about 90% of the time when your subscribing to a forum, you never put in the referal name

Ah I see. The counter is based on the user's own time zone. Anyways, the contest will begin in around 45 minutes (till 6PM PST). If you haven't done so already, be sure to register on the current contest page for a quick 10-point head start. Information on that will be sent via your registered email address.
