Opeth is a very good band technically, their music is just a matter of taste.

Personally my favourite bands are Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Dream Theater, and Radiohead. There are so many bands that I love that I couldn't possibly list them all.

Yep, I've also heard their "Dub Side of the Moon" album. Personally I prefer the originals, but it depends on your mood really.

Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and even Black Sabbath > Slayer.

I disagree, while I have no doubt that Slayer is definitely the heaviest out of those bands I believe Iron Maiden has far more complex musical concepts in their music.

Actually, Emo is more like Breaking Pangea, Dashboard Confessional and Thursday.

My Chem, Panic, and Good Charlotte are alt.rock, with older (and apparntly newers) Good Charlotte being more punk.
