The responsibilities of Content Managers include:
- Content Managers should frequently encourage member participation in their forum, both by posting in existing threads and starting new ones.
- Management of the stickied threads. The Content Manager would be required to make sure all of the stickied threads are informative and up-to-date.
- Content Managers will have significant control on the overall direction of their forum.
- Content Managers will have to assist in the management of forum-specific contests.
- Creation of forum-specified articles. For example, we may ask you to create "how-to" tutorials which we will then publish through our upcoming content management system.
A forum member, Tipsy, said it best:
Both in theory and practice, the best way to motivate people is to give them a stake in their innovation and give them the freedom to follow their ideas as they see fit. Following this line of thinking, a decentralization of control of bringing content in rather than centralized control will foster more content.
We are looking for members who meet the following requirements:
- Have been a member of BattleForums for more than three months.
- Have a solid understanding of the English language. The content you manage will have to be error free, within reason.
- Most importantly, you must be proactive.
Here's your chance. Show your support for BattleForums firsthand by helping us to move it forward!
