| Forum Clean up I think this forum seems a little to crowded with all these stickied messages and over 1000 topics in every forum. Ever thought of cleaning it up? Just a thought. |

| Yes, if there was less post count there would be less traffic. |

| I wasn't referring to the post count. I was talking about the amount of topics in view. I think after about 3 weeks they could be deleted. Most boards have a program that does it automatically. again. Just a thought. |

| Yeah let's just delete all the old threads. It's not like we ever reference them for anything. They are useless. Hell, why stop at 3 weeks? How about 3 hours? Obviously no one wants to reply to it if it's that old. Or we could set up a program that, instead of deleting threads which have been inactive for 3 weeks, deletes people who are inactive for 3 weeks. That should clear up the member list too, in case you find that an eyesore as well. How about.. if you don't want to read the old posts, don't click on Page 20. Sometimes people reference old threads that are extremely enjoyable to read.

BattleForums doesn't really need to worry about bandwidth issues, being such a large site. But we do have database and memory problems.
The stickies I will take down when I deem necessary.*

| I honestly think we have too much sticky threads that answer everyones' question so nobody would need to create a thread.
[This applies to most forums] |

[This applies to most forums] | But it makes us look less newb.
I'm against things like strategy guides for BattleForums, but not against things like hero profiles for Warcraft.
Does that fit your idea?*

| if we cleaned up the forums, and took out old posts. There would be absolutely no traffic. Google bases page rank on how many relevent pages there are, and in order for this site to get a high google PR, we have to have alot of threads / ie pages. Plus, what if its some important thread that has info for starcraft, an old, but fun game that people still play. what if this thread has a strategy that no one else has, and someone googles it and comes to this site and signs up. Hmm, that old thread has just helped us gain 1 member.
IMO this forum is not cluttered, it just needs some design changes to make the clutteredness look not so cluttered.
edit:
BTW both your signatures are over the signature limit. You can have 2, but they must not total over 30 kb. |

I was just making a suggestion not changing anything. The post you made was totally and completely idiotic. GJ at proving you have the IQ of a cucumber.
EDit: Damn I realized that signiature is big...lol...will get that fixed. |

I proved that to TrongaMonga and coRtALoS(which I can't believe it STILL isn't installed). That, also, affects activity. |

That hack just increased the activity by activily sending information back and forth, now we just wait for them. But they ARE still there.
