| New Posts? How do I tell when there has been a new post in a forum? On alot of forums there is a little icon next to the post in a diff color of something, but I have yet to figure it out. I have found the thing in the Forum Selector screen that is like a little Winamp thing, but once I get into the forum I can't tell which ones I've read and which ones I haven't. |

@Ryan, wow I didn't know what those things were. I thought they meant when people were in there.:lovedup |

| No thanks, frosting? Sorry Sicloan.
And I don't think there is a way to know if a post is unread, the only way to see is if the number of views is 0. NO mORE POSTING HERE!! |

| You will know because the icon next to the topic will be yellow instead of blue.

I knew about the little animations you showed me, but I found if you read the posts, and go back to the forum selector it'll still have the orangy animation (the "new posts" one) and that won't go away unless you click "Mark this forum as read"
Am I right?
I'm new to this forum, sorry. |

| You get the arrow next to the thread title if it is new.
Also, if you stay away for something like an hour you automatically log off and when you return, cookies will log you back in, but all posts will be marked as read from the point the server logged you off.
