Now i read that 15,000 Bytes thing but i don't know y does that rule apply when you take the avatar from a website? I made a sick avatar but it's 82,000 bytes . How come that rule applies when you get it from a website not upload it to the server? does that still eat up bandwith?

Wehaveto think about the 56k users, 80kb is a rather large file to download.

yes its true... 56 k is really lame. Avatar sizes are normally single images, or very small animations. even if its on another site, the 56kers still have to download that image every time they see your post on page... which really blows for them.
