Behind the enemy lines

I got up, there was blood all over my face. I looked around and saw dead bodies piled around me. I tried to move a hand but quickly found out that I couldn’t the weight of the bodies that were thrown on me didn’t allow me to move. But the worst of it was that I didn’t remember a thing, not one thing about who I am. I heard someone approaching and lowered my head, pretending to be dead. I could see the one who approached through a small hole in between two bodies piled on top of each other. I saw snow and a man in his early 20’s he wore a battle suit of a 4th Reich soldier, he carried a Shamauser automatic rifle. I didn’t know why I knew this, but I knew this. His battle suit was made out of some kind of steel but he took of his helmet, his face was unprotected. I knew what I had to do, I jumped out but the bodies above me didn’t fall or make any noise. I quickly rolled over in the snow, soldier didn’t notice me, I jumped behind him and brought the full weight of my fists on his head, then he fell down I started kicking him In the face, I had almost no clothes on, except the shirt that is usually worn under the battle suit. I was cold, but the man I was kicking in the face didn’t care about that anymore, he was dead. I leaned over and broke his neck, just to make sure. I took off his suit and put it over me, it kept me warm, I picked up his rifle, threw it behind my back into a special socket, after that I dragged his body and threw it in one of the piles of bodies which were plentiful here. I slowly walked to the north of the graveyard, there was a road completely covered by snow, I followed it. Suddenly I heard a car gear. I jumped into the bushes. A jeep rode by me, going the same direction I was going, north. I decided to get of the road, and started traveling on the side of it, still going north. Finally I spotted a barricade in the middle of the road. I suddenly screamed in pain, falling down to my knees. It was a flashback, my memory quickly returned to me. My childhood back on earth, in Grebky a small village near Moscow, Russia. My parents, my wife, my son, it all went right through my head. I realized all that was happening. It was year 2236 3 world war, Germans started it again, but now its bigger, much bigger. Human race controls most of the galaxy, separate nations own colonies in every part of known space. I was on a Russian colony called New Novgorod, and my battalion was wiped out. I remember running, I remember the shots, I remember the bombs falling from the skies. We got massacred, those bodies I saw were my comrades, killed in the service in their country. I knew then that we lost the planet, it was now completely occupied by Germans. But why wasn’t the nuclear attack initiated? This planet should be a nuclear wasteland by now. I put a hand over my face and said few words about those who died. Then I did all according to the tradition of my people. I placed a holy cross upon myself with my hands. Then I said a prayer. After I was done I got up and without hiding I walked to the barricade. I wasn’t afraid, I was wearing German uniform and my knowledge of the german language was almost perfect. A soldier that stood near the barricade raised his rifle, he said to me in german.
“Only those with the special order from the general are allowed to follow this road, walk back to your barracks.”
There were two guards at the barricade, barricade itself wasn’t anything special just few large metal containers stacked together. I made sure that the car drove enough of a distance so no one would hear the shots. I had the element of surprise on my side. One guard had his rifle up, another was smoking in the guard cabin with his rifle on his back. I fired at the one who held his rifle ready. He fell down with a hole in his head without making a sound. I used the rest of the clip to pound the guard cabin, I made a lot of holes through the wooden walls but it was worth it. The soldier fell out through the broken window of the cabin with his cigarette still in his teeth. I picked up both rifles, and went to the side of the road again, then I continued north.

Here's a kindly clue. FanFiction is not the place to show off your favorite font. If you want people to read your writing, I strongly recommend you do not use such a blinding choice. You might also want to clean up some rather glaring grammarical problems that I managed to glance before giving up for the sake of my eyes.

its not that, its when your posting a short story it's best not to choose retna(sp?) buring colors. I usualy have to highlight text with my bad eyes

It's amazing how easily he took that the wrong way. What did I say that was, in anyway, insulting?

I can read that text easily now I used to it. If you have a problem reading it just highlight it. I actually quite liked it, just some more description and detail and it will be much better.
