| The Blade Curse
The Blade Curse Created by: The_Matrix_Reloaded Chapter 1: A Dream
Voice: "Steven!! Watch out!!"
Steven awakens from his dream with a gasp, finding himself sitting
straight up. He has continually had the same dream that he gets
killed by a demon covered in ashes. This is the third night is has
happened. He can't sleep, he can't eat. He thought to himself
in the darkness of his room, thinking what he did to have these
terrible dreams. He noticed he had a headache, and when he touched
his head he found he was covered in sweat. He wiped it all off,
and slowly laid back down. Steven looked at the clock. 2:26 A.M.
As he closed his eyes, he slowly drifted back to sleep.
***
Voice: "I'm getting thirsty, let's stop somewhere and get some water."
Steven: "Sure, I need a break too."
Voice: "What's that?"
Steven: "What's what?
Voice: "In your pocket. It's sticking out. It looks like a handle."
He pulls it out to find a knife, covered in rust.
Steven: "I didn't put a knife here. I don't even remember having one!"
Voice: "That's wierd... Are you s---" Steven's alarm goes off very
loud. He wakes up, realizing his dream had started to happen again.
He listens to the alarm, glad that the night is over. He gets out
of bed, slowly but surely. Chapter 2: The Blade
As Steven got downstairs, he noticed his parents weren't home.
He found a note on the table. It read:
"Steven,
Went to pick up some groceries. Make sure you take a shower and
brush your teeth. There's food in the cupboards, all you have to do
is look around. Be back at about 1:30.
Love, Mom"
He looked at the clock on the micro-wave. 11:41. He grabbed a can
of Sphaggeti-o's, opened the can and put it in the micro-wave and
started to warm it up. He went back upstairs and brushed his teeth,
then came back down. The Sphagetti-o's were done, the timer had
stopped. He opened the micro-wave to get his food out. "Oh God...
No......" He said in a panicking voice. What he found was not Sphagetti-o's,
but instead a rusty knife. "This must be another dream... Please, let it
be another dream..." He picked up the knife, and it had the same
leather handle that it did in his dream. Suddenly Steven's cat, Sparkle,
started hissing and growling at the knife like Steven had never heard
before. Sparkle tended to be a nice cat, but she was making it seem
as though the knife would kill her. Steven walked closer to show her
that it was okay, and instead she bolted outside through the swinging
door. "This isn't a dream..." He thought to himself. He took the knife
outside and threw it in the outside garbage. When he got back inside,
He called Tony, his best friend and told him to come over as soon as
possible. When he got over he was curious and wanted to know why
he had called him over. Steven told him he couldn't tell, but he couldn't
explain why.
Tony: "You mean I came over here for nothing?!"
Steven: "No, I promise it's a really good reason, I just can't tell you."
Tony: "So, what am I supposed to do?"
Steven: "Just... stand guard, I need to get ready."
Tony: "Well, what can I do while I'm waiting?"
Steven: "Go watch TV or something."
Tony: "Fine."
Steven goes upstairs to get ready, and when he gets downstairs, he
is surprised to see his Mom home and Tony gone.
Steven: "Where'd Tony go?"
Mom: "I sent him home while you were in the shower."
Steven and his mom unpacked the groceries, and he began to eat lunch.

| Crap I keep forgetting to do that, but the story is at my mom's house and I'm going there tomorrow. I'll add more to the story tommorow, I promise.:o | |
