I need rates for me to use and server rates..

This is what I use, go ahead and **** around with them.

cl_cmdrate 40
cl_updaterate 30
cl_rate 9999
rate 10000
gl_picmip 1 (this isnt really rates but it gives you a boost of 5-10 fps, it just makes the textures a slight bit worst, for fun change it to 1000)
gl_playermip 1
fps_max 703
fps_modem 0
and theres some other stuff but i forgot.

Server Rates

Now this really depends on what connection your server is running on. My server was running on a ADSL line at sv_maxrate 8000 quite fine. The maxrate should never go past 20000 (unless you got fiber optic connection then go ahead you filthy rich bastard.)

sv_maxrate 6000-10000
sv_maxupdaterate 12-52 (the less the updaterate, the less ping people get, the higher the maxupdaterate, the more bullets register, but people lag more. Also if you have a fiber optic connection you could change it to whatever updaterate you want)

sv_minrate 0 (ALWAYS KEEP IT AT 0)
