| security module on steam
when i join servers i used to only have to wait 6-7 seconds while i downloaded the security module to get in the game, i just formatted my computer now i have to wait 24-30 seconds, how do i fix it back to 6?

| Whoa, wtf thats messed up, i alwasy have to do 12seconds max.....and its a pain after a while..

| It currently doesn't stop many hackers right now since VAC(Valve Anti-Cheat) hasn't been updated since August.

| For all I know, you can't. Their might be some stuff you can tweak but you might have to wait till master_america comes to this thread.

| You could try tweaking your rates.
If you have a good connection try:
rate 20000
cl_updaterate 50

| try rate 20000 and set your connection to t1/t3 in steam options. | |

| wtf i use it all the time in my server i play in.... The admin says to acculy to make sure no one lags... O_O;;
