Is camping a legitamate strategy?

i say is not because it takes no skill to sit in one place and shoot people. go play tribes 2, youll knwo what i mean

If you just watched your entire team rush long A and die, then it's legit to spawn camp with an awp.
It's a legit strat, but it's a disliked strat.

In a way it is a strategy but if thats all you do is go to the same spot and stay there every round then you have to be noob hahaha, but if you camp for a while then relocate after a couple of kills then thats a good strategy.

yes, camping is a legit stratagey. no way to stop people from doing it, and besides, 'camping' is done in REAL WAR. if it is legit in reality, its legit in a game!

i say it is a strategy...just a very newbish 1. hell i do it all the time in halo just go outside the map and stay there with sniper ammo up the yin yang piss my friends off(works better if its console with just 1 t.v., u know exactly where they are)

It is, but I would say it isn't a teribly good one in Team VS Team games. The only time in Team VS Team is if your the only one, or your isolated from your teamates. Doing it every round, and not helping your team is a bit sad though .

It is if you like losing. It is a legitimate strategy but extremely boring (for you and the people waiting for you to die). I hardly believe it takes no skill though, hiding and shooting takes almost as much skill as shooting normally does.

Campers are nubs, this is because thats all there good at for the time, some people camp say like awp and other for reason's, hell i used to camp so i wouldent die. lmao
