thought about romz

hey guys, first off im not sure if this is in the right section, i fugred roms = computer = computer gaming, but with what im askin it might be in nintendo....*shrugs* also if this isnt allows im sorry, but im not really askin advice, im just askin opinions...ne ways onto my topic...

the world of romz and emulation has grown very big in the past year or 2 (give or take) creating roms for everything from atari to xbox...but with nintendos new gaming portable, the Nindendo DS, will this come to an end?

think about it, touchscreen...when games are made that requre touchscreen to actually play, will this kill of the idea of roms for the system? if so, maybe that was a consideration that came into play while creating the DS, maybe they thought about how many games have been emulated onto comp from GBA, and decided this could help the problem.

i dont mean kill it alltogether...but i bleieve that there might not be any ds roms...unless some games dont use the touchscreen tech

how a DS ROM would work:
you use the mouse for the touch screen. Duh.
everything else stays like the classic ROM design

wouldnt it be a little difficult to create the touchscreen/mouseclick patching though?

You do realize they have touch addons for CRT monitors, right? I used to hook them up for the special education room all the time when I was in STLP back when I was in school.

wow, didntk now that...but yeah, i know me, nor non of myf riends have one...so that wont be too popular i bet.
