I updated my game and steam but I can't join any online CZ games on cz maps like de_dust_cz, I know its a cz map because of the name of it but when i click on join server it requires me to download an assload of stuff, over 1GB worth. On my connection it would take about a week. Is there any way possible to play this game online without having to download a bunch of other stuff?
Steam is meant for broadband users because it streamlines updates to games as soon as they're available. Updates used to be released once a week (every Wednesday), but since Steam was released, things have slowed down. As the twisted one says, you should have your computer work the graveyard shift.
