Ok I set up a listen server.
Firstly, my computer is hooked up directly to the modem.
Secondly i know how to start up the server, but not join it.
How i find the ip of my listen server?
ok.. new problem i got the ip.. its just.. i would like to play on my server as well.. and my server is on port 27105, and so am i. How do i change it to 27106? I tried adding "port -27106" in the target line of the shortcut, but it's still at 27105 when i run server. Any suggestions?
Open the server.cfg file found in your steamapps\user@email\counter-strike\cstrike directory. At the bottom of the file, hit enter to start a new line and add port 27016. Save the file, close it, and restart your server.
