If you don't mind playing older games on PC, I'd recommend Fallout 2. Best RPG ever.

I'm no PS3 player though.

Depends entirely on your PC specifications, but my favorites currently:

Counter-Strike
Medieval II: Total War

And that's about it...

Re: recommend games

Portal is amazing as well if you're just looking for a quick time waster.

Re: recommend games

The whole Half-Life series, but it's easy to get lost in Half-Life 1.

Re: recommend games

in no particular order:

Diablo 2 + its expansion
WoW
Starcraft
Warcraft III + expansion
Fallout2 (AWESOME game honostly)
command and conquer (any and all versions)
total annihilation (not a five * game, but good time waster)
Counterstrike
Counterstrike: Source
Call of Duty 4

and to go another route completely:
Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Genises, PS-1, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy DS, and N64 emulators. Cant help you find any of those due to forum rules, but if you can find 'em, you have a TON of games at your disposal without costing a dime.
