| Card Focus: Akroma's Memorial
Quite possibly the most straight-up broken card I've ever seen...can turn any army into a brutal force of destruction...if my Slivers didn't already have half of this stuff, I'd totally run one. Now swarm decks can be even more deadly, as any one of the little buggers can be a badass.
I don't personally know the restrictions on this card, but I'd assume there has to be some form of it, because I can't imagine a deck where this card wouldn't come in handy. |

| I doubt its banned/restricted yet.. considering how new it is but it's easy to get rid of it with a disenchant. I bielive the set it came in has massive artifact destruction

| Yeah, it's very vulnerable to the millions of "destroy artifact" cards and effects out there, but that's still got to be one of the most insanely good artifacts I know of. |

| It's too heavy in cost to use. And any control deck player that let's that thing hit the field simply fails.

| That is basically like Magic's version of "Mighty Guard". Plus, you get immunity from Black and resistance from Red. And you could be mauled if your defense isn't prepared for you to gather the mana.
The only way it is even considered "balanced" is the fact you need 7 mana to summon it. |

| There are ways to get around manacost, guys. I could get that sucker out in a blue deck 2nd turn, given one of a few different combos. Shit, I could even do it in my green deck. ESPECIALLY in my green deck. |

| All you need in a Green deck is a Birds of Paradise to make 1 blue mana, and an artifact out.
1st turn - Play Forest, tap to play Birds of Paradise.
2nd turn - Play another Forest and any Mox or other 0cost artifact. Tap Birds for a blue, and your forests for green (to be used as colorless) and slap out a Tinker. Sac the Mox (or other artifact) and boom you can pull it from your deck. Of course, it's always a lot more fun to do that with Darksteel Colossus, but it'd work with Akroma's Memorial. |

| Darksteel Collusus is just as annoying. Especially the fact since he dies, he returns to the top of your library. One of my friends actually 3 of those. |

He doesn't go to the top of your library, he gets shuffled into it. Any time he goes into the graveyard, shuffle him back into your library. Hardass.
But yeah, he's one of the most badass cards around...11 cost, 11/11, Trample, Indestructible, and the effect I just mentioned...pound for pound one of the most ridiculously good creatures out there. |

| Yeah but there is a 1 : (number of cards left) chance that he will be on the top of your deck. |

| In a blue deck that works with Artifacts, he's really really easy to pull. |

| Yeah, but the only way you are gonna have some hope of stopping him is to make sure the enemy doesn't get the 11 mana he needs. |
