| I think you guys arent being fair enuff to those who might actually be interested... I myself thought the idea of a Pirated based MMORPG would be amazing... instead of guilds you'd have a ship, and have a captain that was guild leader and you set sail to other islands and continents to slay random beasts, find treasure, and take over other ships/towns... rape pillage burn!
Even have ship vs ship type pvp combat, blasting cannons ect... and then random you'd get attacked by a krakken or something... As a boss type monster...
But as for this game... it seems alright enuff... im sure it COULD be fun... Gay is too strong of a word for a game you havent even played yet... and the screens I saw were decent enuff... I'm not sure it would be good enuff to make me want to play it constantly... but with updates and new features im sure it could become a great game... with the right funding it could go a long way from where its currently at... and from what we've seen...
As for tune town... I played it, it was aaaalright.... it was too boreing for me... but friends of mine were adicted to the game... and would argue its truely a great game... i myself was bored after a few hours of throwing pies... squirting people... and dieing to random mobs as their lvl's jumped up drasticly at random momments...
Anyhow im one not to start off by calling every game im not 100% inlove with "gay" or "sucks" neither of them im sure sucks... just like maple story... or runescape... or even ff11... EQ all the games ive just named ive played atleast for a week if not longer (ff11,rune,maple story i played for quite a while) but i still am not a huge fan of any of those... maple story was too boring for me... rune was alright... i actually prefered it when the graphics were 2d instead of this new 3d thing they have going... (my first character on runescape was made back in 2002) ff11 just too slow... it has a great story... a great community... and im sure if i had taken the time to get into it it would of been fairly decent... only problem was, i had played WoW so much that i was used to faster action based combat... quick thinking... and button mashing... and thats not very ff11... you lock on... run up and set there and wait for your character to beat them down.... and occationally heal... dia... what ever... No thx... ill stick with d2 or WoW... (i have a lvl 70 BE paladin, 70 UD warlock, 60 human pali, 60 NE hunter, 60 Tauren Druid, 60 UD mage)
Anyhow... im not trying to bitch and im not trying to troll or flame whatever.. and i know everyone has their own oppinions... its just... its funny to see people be so harsh over something thats not even out yet or just cause its got the POTC name... that its instantly going to be gay... I think not...
