| it came under the radar... i didnt know it was coming out until 2 days before its release(which is quite lame)
finally, a successor of sorts to one of the greatest RTS ever created...
no, not talking about C&C tiberumsun 2(although i am quite excited for that as well )
i am talking about...supreme commander! http://pc.ign.com/objects/755/755287.html
ever play total annihilation? well imagine that with about 1000x better graphics and you've got force commander! .
comments?

| TA was awesome. playing 1 game for an hour only to have your opponent walk into your base with a krogoth and annihilate half of it and then blow up and destory the rest

| I'm currently conducting stress tests on my PC to see if it could handle the rather large recommended settings for it. They want a 3Ghz P4, 1g of mem, atleast a 256 vid card to run it alright. But I believe that IGN was running it on a 3.2ghz, 2g ram, 512 vid system on a 8 player online match and it skipped a bit. Multi ain't an option for me since I have effin dial up, but I still want it. And since I have a duel processor comp, which games don't list specs for, I'm kinda trying to gauge what is a good translation. So far, a game wanting a 2.4ghz runs seamless on my 1.8 dual core. If only I had a mother board that allowed OCing!! I could easily pump my pc up to a 2.8 dual.

Though both are good games, I'm looking at the facts here on the present. |

Though both are good games, I'm looking at the facts here on the present. | so one country out of the 2500 some odd countries in the world dictates that one game is better than the other? Doesn't seem to matter that the command and conquer series has a collectively the best selling RTs franchise of all time does it? |

| Yup. Series, series. I do believe it makes SC more popular, I just don't see how CNC can amount to that even if it has sold more then SC...with what, its ike 10 games? Compared to 1 game, and 1 expansion? Ya, really. It's not barely double in sales, with 1 game and an expansion compared to every game in CNC...take it as it is.
9 to 21? With 2 to 10? Good Game CNC.
For the swarm. |

| well consider Red Alert = 12 million copies sold as of 2003.
Starcraft = 9 million copies sold as of August 2006.
You get my meaning now?
And even with your flawed math skills, there are 4 RTS C&C games in 2003 when C&C series had 21 million units sold. Thats 12 million for red alert and about 3 million for the other games. "But SC has sold more than the other CNC games". Starcraft also is the only game in a series which also has three games in the span of 7 years, where Starcraft has failed to produce a sequel. In essence C&C series has received 21 million sales in 2002, which have no doubt risen exponentially since the next two games have been released, and constant sales relating to the other games, where by last August Starcraft was only at 9 million. |

| I'm counting exp's here because that 9 million is SC and BW combined. But it's cool. According to what I'm reading now...RE's sub series bagged 12 million, not RE itself. =/
Not sure what you were arguing on... |

| I never liked the CNC series. Too slow for me. I tried to get into Generals...that lasted about 2 weeks. CNC is something you really gotta play awhile, and if you leave it for too long, you have to relearn alot of stuff, while SC on the other hand, is simple enough to be able to get back on track given a weeks worth of play time. Not that I'm bashing CNC, it's just not my cup of tea.

| Try RE2...I think thats the best5 thus far, I wasn't partial to the Tiberium Games, because I started in RE2 awhile back. I did have Generals for a bit...it's not like any blizzard games I've played.
Though the nuke on that game was kickass... |
