no, it has its own battle.net type server. The game itself is the client.

| yes.....I found out you cna;t play the game form d/l net cuz #1 need cd-key. #2 it has a special protection where there has to be the actual cd in the driveto run...no no cdhacks availbe for it 
tis only $30.00 for a great game though
