| Well, to me, it isn't addicting, but it is really really fun. If you had a choice between Guild Wars and WoW, I would say WoW, but some people don't have the option of spending 70 dollars the first month, and 20 dollars the following months to come. There is a major con to Guild Wars that WoW doesn't have -- free online game play. I think you should buy it, it's a great game.

| i think u mean major pro to gw.
i rather enjoy gw, the pvp isn't exactly to my liking, but it's enjoying nonetheless. if you're looking for a pvp game that requires lots of strategy and to a certain extent teamwork, then this is your game. otherwise the pve gets boring after a while.

| lol, if you like organized play and dont like to solo and have it a shortly lived game play, go for it. WoW > GW, After playing both, WoW is more time consuming, more agile, and everything, but if its a get a game or not, buy it.

| i played gw for a month. i got bored out of my mind! it took me a week to beat it with my frist caracter, a week with the secnd.
then i went to pvp. after 2 weeks, i said screw this game.
gw is a waist of money. the items are all the same. every caracter has the same armor. every caracter can get the same weapon. and there are no items that give very many bonuses that are worth any1's time. |

| I hit level 20 in a week, but kept playing for a couple months. I then switched to another game to play with some friends (It was WoW), but I had a great time playing guild wars and it can be a lot of fun in a good guild/group of players. PvP really requires strategy and communication, which is a lot different than some games where it is gear/level dependent. It's a lot different than diablo and some (noob) people complain about not having good items to give them the edge they sorely need, but it's a great game I had fun with it. |

| There is no single player to anny "MMO" and yes, WoW has a fee, but its worth it.
