| Guild Wars... Waste of $$ Not to be rude or offend anyone who's obsessed with Guild Wars, but I think that game was the biggest waste of 50$ I ever spent. Sure, the first week was fun, until I hit lvl20 and finished the game? ... Now What?
People who enjoy the game and have exhausted RPG mode say to play on the PvP server. Sure, let have a lvl20 character made for me so I can waste my time dueling people to no avail. Yes, I've been told there's a ranking system so you can compare yourself to all the other helpless losers wasting their time in a similar fashion.
My advice, don't buy this game. Find a friend that has bought it, make a character on his account and see how long it takes you to get bored. Sure, some people like replaying the same game over and over, but with a different class every time. If you're not one of these people, don't waste your time.
There's my two cents |

| your right, i'm much more of an FPS (First Person Shooter) Fan where things are fast-paced and you have multiple game types and maps to choose from. In Guild Wars, I am in a Guild, but I've never done GvG (assuming that means Guild vs. Guild) or HoH, UW or FoW (don't even know what those are). I just wanted to put in my two cents for those thinking about buying the game. If they're like me and enjoy FPS more than RPG-style games, they should probably try it out before buying it.

| HoH = Hall of Heros, UW = Under World, FoW = Fissure Of Woe, these things are the funnest things ever, role playing help you level up under stand a alright story line, and you go do these things for items, fun, and just to know you owned someone.

| ah ok cool, i've heard of the Hall of Heroes, never been there. As for Under World and Fissure of Woe, i've never heard of them or anybody talk about them. i should start GW up again for a couple days and see if I like with with the stuff they've changed since i've played. |

| you must understand i havent played for a over a month. when i played, there was no FoW or UW, and very little people played in the Hall of Heroes. The storyline and PvP mode was all GW had back then. being an FPS player, where single player modes are just a story lines without added quests or bonuses, i saw the game as finished, and in a very short amount of time for an RPG (in my opinion). |

| did you not read my previous posts? i said i posted this to give other people an idea of what the game's about. if somebody who like the same style of games i do buys this, they will most likely end up with the same views on the game. by reading this, somebody will know whether they should try the game before they buy it. besides, who asked your opinion? |

FoW and UW are in toa wich i doubt you know where or what it is so why waste the time to explain.

| Not to mention the IGN review of the game in which the editor stated, "Inviting someone into your party who isn't close enough to be seen means manually typing their name in the chat window. Since all characters have a first and last name, this can be a little tedious, especially if you're racing to invite that person before someone else does."
"There really isn't a lot of room for strategy and tactics, for better or worse. GW has an especially high range in which enemies will see you and come running, and your party will often be outnumbered, sometimes significantly"
"As fun as combat is, and as pretty as it looks, plowing your way through low-level mobs can and will get tiresome, since they don't give much (if any) experience points and will be dropping items that are virtually useless to you. Monsters will also chase you for quite a good distance, which gets complicated when you combine that with the high "aggro" range. I've had a few sections where I was being chased mercilessly by over a dozen beasties, because I simply didn't want to sit there and fight my way through every fifty feet of terrain."
Seriously, I hate idiot reviewers.
