Im getting CS in 5 days

What makes CS different? Well, it's the game's unique combination of a "strategic shooter" demeanor with surrealistic situations, physics, and tactics that makes the game so incredibly popular. In order to do well in this game, you'll have to develop reflexes and strafe-shooting skills quickly.

Tips? Good luck. If I were around, I'd offer to play a few games and teach you a few tips, but I don't really play CS much anymore.

yeah if you've never played any fps before.. prepare to get seriously mad..

cs is fun, but only if you're good at cs... its a weird game.

Well basicly I would say other than it winning formula the community is huge and aged. The skill gap can be huge compared to other FPS games.

Tips:
Don't run in anywhere first, just follow people.
Don't run when you are alone, walk instead.
Do the objectives(Plant bomb, save hostys)

You can also try searching the forums for the guides we use to have before the CS forums were merged. If you can find them they will be very helpful.

Well it was released in 1999. A lot of the community is still a bunch of idiots, but the servers I play on and the teams I've played on arn't filled with the average kids. I think for the most part it's the most mature community for an FPS that I've seen.(If you actually look for mature servers/teams)

i get pissed all the time in cz. can someone please tell me were to get a server for condition zero? my dad wants to get one so we can make a clan ive looked for some but i have no idea what were getting and the servers are really xpensive per month

There are many server providers, but this is just the first one that came up for CZ. Search google for more.
