Turn them off they cause glitches in CPU performance.

Does it really take longer to load? . This really is a very small script that runs the snow flakes, and I really doubt it will make much of a difference. Anyways, it'll be gone by the end of the holiday seasons anyways.

It loads ok and everything (a little slow but it's fine), but it takes up processing power and slows everything else down (sometimes considerably). And that's happened on my laptop (IE) my desktop (FF) and my other desktop (FF).
