For me though, it doesn't slow anything down at all. Not sure why it would affect your pc eric.

Everything runs fine on my computer while running: hellgate london, Starcraft 1 beta, Fallout 3 (a demo), my NES emulator, two seperate mud clients, AND four different web browsers.

This script takes NOTHING to run. And if you hate it, try IE for the time being.

It does take a slight bit more on coming on BF, my processor jumps from 11-19% to around 25-30% usage.

Unless your computer really sucks, or are running 10 bajillion things at once and don't expect any slowdown, AND you happen to come on BF at the same time there should be no problem.
