| Ways to increase D2 FPS? Maybe it's because my internet sucks, or because I'm on West Coast playing on East Realm, but for some reason, my D2 tends to be choppy at the start screen, the lobby, and sometimes in-game. Now I haven't played in about 9 months, so if you junkies have some tips and tricks for me I'd love to hear them. |

| maybe try adding args -lq -w -ns if you can tolerate d2 with no sound. They might help.

| This is interesting. Because I have roadrunner broadband and a decent processor for d2 and I lag during dueling and especially when trading for some reason. |

| I get low FPS too at times, and I live on the east coast while playing on east, I have a Cable connection with 500+ down, my computer has 768mb PC333, GeForceFX 5700LE 256MB video...I think it's just because the system that D2 uses sucks at life. DirectDraw/Direct3D isn't going to run smooth on any machine, I'm afraid to say. Those are both completely processor drivin, yet even with the newest processor available, it's going to run the same as if it were on a Celeron 533MHz.

| DM, I told you not to shit on your RAM.. it does no good.
I used ot have uber low fps with my old computer, while my bro's old computer, which sucked even more than mine, had high fps all the time (high enoug hto play anyways).
Well my so called 'new' computer, doesnt give me any low fps now tho... probly its just d2 it self thats screwd up.

| Are you running in 2d,or 3d? Like inflames said, the 3d mode sucks major no matter what setup you have, and I myself run in 2d and have no problems. You should see what mode your running in and for the heck of it goto the video test for diablo on your start menu or directory folder and change to 2d if your not in it already.

| I dunno. I'm buying a new router today, or possibly tomorrow. Partly because the one I have now is really old. The wireless card thats in the back of my computer is broken. The Atennae falls off randomly, and as you can imagine, thats partly why I get disconnected on AIM/MSN half the damn time. So yeah. |
