If you want to me more beefy, and if it doesnt makre you suffer any other gear changes (Due to lower STR.) and if your defence doesn't suffer too much, I would do it. Also, this may yield more results in Strategies & Tactics Forum.

You should probably waity for one of those addicts to post. But the common argument basically stands as defence for life. If you can spare one for the other, then it;s only logical to do it if you need to balance them out.

BP Enigma is and always will be my favorite caster armor. You can build a great character with base STR using BP enigma at the sacrfice of only some defense, which casters will never have a lot of anyways.

Thank you. Both of you for the imput. I'm for sure going to go with BP nigma now. And about the defense ill just try finding one with good enough defense that it wont matter.

Mage Plate enigma for more def. You can get like 1k def on those. The Str req is 55. I'm using it on my hammerdin and didn't add any str.

dusk shroud is good, but i prefer my archon nig, it may cost abit extra strength but with the right gear you just need to add about 20-35 stat points into strength, rest into life, and bring man up to about 50-75.

its usefull sometimes

dusk shroud is a light armor and has the most defence / str ratio. That is the best. end of story.

....................Min/Max Defense...Min Strength......Type
Dusk Shroud...361-467...............77....................Light
Archon Plate...410-524..............103...................Light

mid dusk = 414 +763 from enigma = 1177
mid archon = 467 +763 from enigma = 1230

is 26str worth 53 defence? i dont think so.

Lee wins. You could easily invest those stat points into Vitality or Dex, or even Energy if you actually care about your mana pool..
