Question on "special effects"

If anyone on any forum posted something about this, please accept my sincerest appologies

I have noticed that some items imbue you with effects to your attack/def.

1.Freezing and cold length i can get
2.Ive herd crushing blow reduces a monster's life by a percentage
3.I've herd element absorb makes you use the % of element damage to heal

but the one thing ive never seen anything about is Deadly Strike
im wondering because i found this odd sword that adds %deadly strike based on char level, headhack or something like that, i was like lvl 82 and i saw it gave about +120% Deadly Strike. i kept it just in case this was worth anything

please post about this, and correct me if any of the effects (1, 2, 3) above gives a different result. Thank you

I'm pretty sure you're right on all of them. If not, then I would advise you going here and checking out al the status effects and attributes that weapons and armor can have. If you have any more questions, you can use this thread for them as long as it doesn't get too offtpic of Diablo II in general. To Newbies Only!
