| Improving game play on D2
Anyone know if there is a way to increase the speed of gameplay on D2LOD.
I have a really shitty comp and slow internet connection. I'm on cable but its called lite not high speed. Whenever I use the map it slows gameplay so much. Just wondering if there is anything that can be changed in the settings.

| Other than what Sweaty said you could also beef up your memory, including video memory.

ZConnor | My video card is the all in wonder. My memory banks are full. 1x128 and 3x64. Well. thanks for the advice i was hoping on not spending any money on a new pc but i guess i'll have to since d3 will be coming.

| if ur pc cant play d2 in the most lowest res then im sorry u got a bad pc and need to get a new one with a new gfx card and a memory upgrade because u will want to play a game that needs higher gfx sooner or later | |

You can get 512 for 50 buckeroos at almost any place ... including Best buy whose prices normally suxors.

So If I upgrade to 512k on one of my memory banks this will speed up the gameplay graphics. Eventhough though, lol....my cpu is 300mhz. <==== LMAO

| I fixed it. I got some help at another chat forum. People were telling me over there to switch to 2d instead of 3d drivers. This is found under Video Test/selecting drivers. I don't need to buy new comp. Woohoo.
