Well it doesnt mean its coming out, but theres a good chance it will with all the new employees that they are looking for. Just look at the word usage that they use to desribe that Position.

Wow, I dont know how Diablo III is going to come out, since there is no prime evils, and thats the whole point to the Diablo series of games.

Plus the Diablo game designers don't work for Blizzard anymore, and therefor, they cannot make D3, due to an infringment on the Copy Rights that those individuals have on the name and game series.

Ever play Diablo I? Theirs TONS of history before the Prime Evils, hell they can even cook up a brand-new plot that takes place after the death of all 3.

And Blizzard owns the Diablo Franchise. They can always hire a new team to create another. The copyright laws were not and will not be granted to the induvidual team

How much law have you studied Khull?

I mean, I've studied copy right laws and you need the permission of all parties to endorse a series of items that will be sold, and you'd need the permission of the head Diablo Designers, which I dont know if it'd happen, and all the history given in Diablo I, was all expanded upon in Diablo II, and LoD.

Plus the destruction of the World Stone, I believe, really takes away the purpose of making a third in the series, which would be cool, but what would the enemy be? Satan? Jesus? God?

P.S. Diablo isn't a Franchise, it's an item that Blizzard endorsed for a rocket in their stock for Vivendi Universal, which I dont think did very much, considering that the stock is like 25 bucks per share.

Every bother to read what any NPC's say once you defeate Baal? Nobobdy knows what will actually happen, Hell could pour into Sanctuary, new demon warlords can arise, much more can happen

And I havn't studied much law at all. I just read somewhere that Blizzard owned the Diablo Series/Franchise/Game/Whatever you want to call it, not the specific team

Obviously you didn't study very hard. Blizzard owns all the rights to D2 and all the characters in it. What you said is like saying Wal-Mart owes you a royalty check for using the copyrighted name because you're a cashier there.

Diablo III can come out, hell, theres whole ****ing story already plotted, with Tyrael destroying world stone (and possiblity some demon inside Tyrael.. the voice is diff in Act 5.. it maybe minor, but :ufo )

D3 is definite possiblity, LoD has yet again given us more and more mysteries on the game, just like how they did it in BW, and TFT.

This was posted on the blizzard site on Feb 5,2005. How is this a theory? Just look at the posting. If they were going to make a different game then their job posting would not specify Diablo and Diablo II. I have also heard from other Forums that there is a D3 level that is currently being tested.

Yes minny, it is related to Diablo, but its not related fully to the Diablo I, II and LoD. Plus there's a section that's designated for D3.
